Hey Folks!

My first semester of college is coming to an end. I thought I would share a couple of small scenes I recently wrote for a class as I prepare to embark on my next adventure.

Joash: I don’t wanna be late to the game.

Jessica: Can you listen to me?

Joash: Sure. What’s up?

Jessica: I just thought.. what if we BOTH …

Joash: Look at that bird flying right above our window!!

I think that is a great sign.

Jessica: Just give it 18 years.

II. Birthday Party

Andrew: Sorry, I’m very late again. I was waiting for my toothpaste to get delivered. So, I could leave the house.

Darbie: Make yourself feel like home.

Andrew: Can I wash my shirt?

III. Puncakes

Ana: Today is a very special day …

Kris: Will we go have puncakes?

Ana: … to launch a company. A long time ago, when I was…

Kris: Mom, can I get a glass of water?

Ana: It was such pressing issue of our time. I was almost ready to give up this…

Kris: When you are done, we’re gonna go have puncakes, right?

Ana: It took us over 10 years to bring this idea to life. Our team had to work long hours. So, now we srongly belive in our ability to completely change…

Kris: Mom, Mary just called and said that if you are not in zoom yet, don’t tell people that you are a tech company. Your website just crashed. And also do not dare to reveal your idea - a million of blue rubber duck toys are still being manufactured in China. People won’t buy anything from you if they find out right away.

Silence.

They aren’t stupid.
