Fun Fact I genuinely don’t know Sabrina Carpenter’s songs except the catchy parts 😭 IN MY DEFENSE….I knew her from Girl Meets World…so I didn’t notice the brand change until Espresso BUT THAT’S NOT THE POINT

I ended up practicing drawing some backgrounds (I have..I have to get better 😭)

But I figured out a floor plan! And…a WHOLE RAMBLE..!!!!

But yeah this is just a ramble because again I never truly specified how ANYTHING looked except pink…because god forbid you ask her for a tour

Also I just wanna say that like all the pictures were taken in advance but like…lowkey? @skys-wife @miraclecherryblossomsblog and @horatiooratio y’all’s little doodles made it so much more enjoyable like??

Like 🥹 AWWWW!!! THIS IS SO CUTE—Put a smile on my face the day I saw it tbh—It’s like my second fav thing to experience on there apart from the drawing aspect

ANYWAY

TIME TO TOUR THE HOUSE!

But I do want to note the main thing ever canonically mentioned is her mug collection! Some previous jobs gifted her some mugs, some came from students who appreciated her, and others from stores or gift shops. Surprise! Before she lost her eye SOMETIMES SHE WENT OUTSIDE!!! WOAH!! Give her a mug and she’s keeping it

Anyways, to the more detailed stuff

She rarely watches TV, her living room is like her lounging zone for when she just got home from work and needs to decompress. Also I should mention the lights? Not very bright! She doesn’t need that much light anyway but also it saves money. The couches are really comfy btw! If people are here it’s karaoke night and she’s had two glasses of liquid courage to try and sing Square Biz by Teena Marie. (No one but her close friends get to bear witness to the chaos. She couldn’t handle anyone catching her doing that 😭)

Also bad news. There is cat hair there. Yes she tries to vacuum, but?? Kinda comes with the territory, but it’s not that visible because everything is just so PINK—pink pastels specifically—that unless you’re really looking you won’t notice. (Not really? Allergy trigging? Cause..DNA mumbo jumbo…LISTEN THERE IS A GHOST CLOWN GUYS!!! A YANDERE ONE!!! WAY WAY BIGGER FISH TO FRY LET’S NOT THINK TOO HARD ON HER GENETICS!!!)

Her kitchen? Amazing. Minus some crumbs and the concerning amount of paper towels and plastic containers it’s pretty standard. She has ingredients + leftovers in that fridge. But she has fruits! Good veggies for her health! Stuff for smoothies!

….AND 4 LARGE CONTAINERS OF ICE CREAM FOR SOME REASON?? If she’s having a bad day or she’s sick she’s cracking them open.

There’s no door to this room it’s like, right next to the kitchen counter. Again she never really had to worry about company and she’s usually real tired after work. So, if she’s here, she probably has a cup of tea and some salad as she looks out the window.

Speaking of company, there is NO WAY anyone is using HER bathroom so they get this groovy guest bathroom over here…just know it’s also pink.

Oh and the guest room!! It’s actually very well decorated!!! She wasn’t sure what to add except that vintage cat clock. She loves that thing. Please don’t break it 🥺 you will make her SOB.

…Now, what about HER room?

It actually is a mess, but y’know, I do have inspo images for what it looks like! That and her bathroom!

Honestly I just like the tons of wallpaper and there being a second table area. Also don’t worry she’s not crazy enough to put carpet in her bathroom

But it is…very pink

Minus that one extra toilet this is perfect! Showers are loud and getting water in her ears SUCKS 😭 Tubs are way better for her, plus she can sit down and handle her hair too!

But uh, yeah, she’d never want anyone in there. Her room is usually the messiest because she’d rather just…lay down and rest instead of do the laundry (which…it’s SOMEWHERE in that house…probably in the hallway connected to her room)

The few times in the story Jack ever got close I can imagine he got the hint at what colors she likes REAL quick 😭 And buddy with all that space when her “friend” moved in…you can imagine the HOURS it took for her to try and fix it up before Jack “took care of it”.

AU/AU Variation: The two halves that make up the ghost have somehow separated. And now, "Joseph" and Jack are both very unhappy about their other half trying to keep his girl/his sunshine from being influenced by one over the other.

TW: Gaslighting(?); yandere behavior

Jack: (voice low and soft) "This is what your grandpa used to do when you were little, right? Hold you in his arms and play with your hair to make you feel better? He'd call you his little storm cloud and said you could rain if you felt too heavy. (chuckles a little) So cute."

Lux: (thinking; eyes closed) 'How did he know? I... I don't think I ever told him that. Did I?'

Jack: "You were so sad when he died. A kid who lost someone she thought could hold up the whole world. Everybody tried but... Nothing they did or any amount of rain you cried ever really helped. And now, with everything else and having to deal with... him..."

Lux felt Jack hold her a little closer and tighter, a cold pressure weighing down on her as he alluded to a certain someone in an uncharacteristically spiteful way.
