school: for the next twelve years of your life you will go through standardized schooling.
school: everyone has no will to live, correct?
school: please flip over your mental barriers, the time has begun.
school: if you do not have a mental illness one will be provided for you.
Things I’ve learned this week
Some male students like the sound of high pitched chimes
Some male students claim high pitched chimes hurt their ears
8th graders know way more about science than they think they do
Students have to be taught EVERYTHING

For example if you accidentally step on a frog in the grass at lunch break and you think you have killed it; it is not acceptable to keep stepping on it until you know it’s dead because it’s no longer in one piece.

EVERYONE HAS TO WATCH THIS IT SAVED MY FRIEND’S LIFE AND COULD SAVE YOURS
It’s about a school shooting so if you are triggered by that then do not watch
Peak passive aggression is writing a beautifully eloquent paper on not having enough time to take a piss and get to class and sending it to the journalism department at your school

I had the most random memory from the 1st grade
It still confuses me to this day
Here's what happened:
Our teacher was reading us a short story. I can't for the life of me remember what it was about, but we were asked questions about the author at the end, and encouraged to ask questions, ourselves.
I had asked "Did she have children?"
And for some reason, my teacher corrected me. "Kids? Did she have kids?"
It still confuses me why she corrected me. It was as if I wasn't suppose to be using the word "children" yet?? Somehow I think that says something about public schools and the school system as a whole
I'm stuck in a pep-less pep rally.
No one is smiling, they're just putting in minimal effort and they look dead inside.
grammar is a tool of the elite designed to make writing more difficult for those of us who had a shitty education.
