Someone on twt was talking about how if utdr were to be turned into an animated mini series of some sort the lore would have to be heavily tweaked. And in my head I was trying to think of how that could work, and I feel like a good foundation to base it off of would be something similar to Princess tutu,,, and that just made the idea of drosselmeyer gaster haunt me all night
