So my PS5 controller has suddenly started dying incredibly fast. I say suddenly, I think it started like 2-3 weeks ago, but it still was kinda sudden. Like, I'll fully charge it, then in around 2 hours it's dead. Any game that uses features on the controller kills it fast, but gaming at all, even if it uses no controller features just kills it. Even just watching YouTube it dies fast
I charge it via an extension chord plugged into the wall, as my PS5 is too far to charge it via the PS5. I don't leave it in, I'm constantly checking it while it charges and unplug it the moment it's done, and I use the PS5 charging lead it came with
I never had any issues with my PS3 and PS4, but I think i may have to get a new controller soon which is frustrating. Like I never had to take apart my PS3 or PS4 for maintenance, yet I've had to do so for my PS5 multiple times due to overheating. It's just frustrating how the controller and console are both having issues, when i feel I take care of them rather well. Sharing the serial number to show what generation it is
