我相信这个策略一定在团队中讨论了很久才确定下来的，如果说为什么Instagram在图片应用方面如何这么成功，我相信对于方形照片的选择也是一个重要原因。

方形避免了由于拍摄照片的设备不同或者来源不同而产生的各种各样的尺寸问题造成的不统一，让产品的整个界面和展示更加的统一，减少用户过于关注照片尺寸带来的个性化，而去寻找在同样尺寸下照片内容以及色彩的个性化；

对于现在照片泛滥的4:3和16:9构图，方形构图更加独特和原始，也应了CEO的那句让产品更加Stand out，这一点上，Instagram做到了。

取舍有时就塑造了一个产品的性格和特点，另外一个服务dribbble，设计师展示自己作品的平台，只允许上传400*300的照片，相比其他服务来说，在展示方式上非常单一，却赢得了众多设计师的热爱，成为现在一个热门的设计分享平台。

随着Instagram的流行，相信会有更多的人开始尝试输出方形照片，在拍照片的时候如果没有合适的黄金分割构图，不妨想一想故意朝着方形照片的方式去拍，回头可以剪辑下也不错。
