POV: Scott McCall
Listen up guys, right now my bro Stiles is gonna flex on you about how he finally scored his first goal after some brutal lacrosse practice. The net was wide open with no goalie, but you better not give a shit about that. You are going to sit there, listen in pure awe, no interrupting, and no fucking snickering. Otherwise, you're all fucked.

Scott watched as Jimmy bounded up and down the stairs, rambling excitedly about something. Scott knew he should have been listening, but all he could think about was how he could hear the laughter in Jimmy's voice, how the sunlight caught the edge of his hair and made it look like golden straw. All he could think about was the way Jimmy's eyes sparkled, and how beautiful his hands looked on the banister, and how utterly amazing he was.
Before he could stop himself, Scott laughed softly. Jimmy paused, and glanced back up at him, brow furrowed. Scott flushed. "Sorry," he said, awkwardly. "You're just...I really like seeing you happy."
"Awww," Jimmy said, climbing the top half of the stairs up to where Scott stood on the balcony. "That's a good excuse," he teased, tapping Scott on the nose. "'Cause you weren't listening to a word I was saying, were you?" Scott flushed even brighter, but then he and Jimmy burst into laughter.
"Ok, ok," Scott said, trying to catch his breath. "You caught me. What were you talking about?" Jimmy rolled his eyes. "I was telling you about how me and Lizzie found out we were siblings." "Oh, right," Scott said. "How are you holding up with that?" "Pretty good," Jimmy said, leaning against the balcony railing. "It's kind of weird, but at least she's not an evil demon." He winked, and Scott groaned exaggeratedly.
"One time," he muttered, pretending to bury his face in his palms. "I mention it to you one time." He pretended to swat at Jimmy, but the Cod Father danced out of the way, nimbly dodging Scott's blow. "Haha!" Jimmy called, moving closer to the stairs. "Too slow."
Scott flipped him a gesture, and Jimmy pressed his hand to his chest, offended. "Scott!" he cried, taking a small step back. "At least take me to dinner first!"
"Ok, that's it!" Scott said, reaching for Jimmy. Jimmy bounded away, moving dangerously close to the stairs. "Get over here." Jimmy ducked under Scott's hand, laughing.
His foot slid back, and suddenly, it was hanging off the edge of the stairs. Suddenly, his feet were tangled around each other, and he was falling, falling, rolling down the stairs.
"Oh my god, Jimmy!" Scott yelped, leaping over the edge of the balcony, and floating down to the bottom floor. His elytra drooped as his feet hit the ground, and he knelt by Jimmy's side. "Jimmy, are you alright?" he asked, checking Jimmy over for injuries. "I'm fine," Jimmy assured him. Scott could hear the pain in his voice.
He glanced down at Jimmy's ankle and saw that it was twisted nearly a full ninety degrees to the right. He sucked in a breath. "Jimmy," he said. "Don't look down at your foot. And also, this is gonna hurt." Before Jimmy could say anything, he lifted Jimmy's leg up slightly, and brushed his hands over Jimmy's ankle.
Jimmy howled in pain, and Scott winced. "Please don't be broken. Please, please don't be broken," he muttered under his breath. He pressed gently against Jimmy's foot, and Jimmy yelped a volley of curses under his breath. "Scott, what the hell are you doing?" he demanded.
"I'm just trying to see if it's broken," Scott shot back. "I know it hurts, but I need to make sure you're okay." "Just warn me next time," Jimmy grumbled. "I did!" Scott said exasperatedly. "It's on you if you ignored it!"
Jimmy opened his mouth to retort, but suddenly the door creaked open and sunlight flooded into the room. A young woman in glasses poked her head into the room. "Lord Scott," she said shyly. "I have the inventory reports for the Sheep Shack."
Then she noticed Jimmy. Her face flushed red with embarrassment. "Oh my goodness. I'm so sorry, my lord. I didn't realize you had a guest over!"
"It's fine, Lusha," Scott said, waving her off. "Actually, I need you to do me a favor." "Of course, my lord," Lusha said. "Run and get the doctor," Scott said. "Quickly please." Her eyes widened with concern, but she nodded.
"Who was that?" Jimmy asked once Lusha had left. "Head economist," Scott replied. "Now, does it hurt when I do this?" He twisted Jimmy's ankle slightly and Jimmy howled in pain. "Got it," Scott said.
Just then, the door opened and the doctor stepped into the room. "Lord Scott," he greeted. "What's wrong?" "Jimmy fell," Scott said, moving out of the way to let the doctor exam Jimmy's ankle. "I'm worried he broke his ankle." The doctor nodded, and began to poke at the injury.
Finally after much prodding and complaining from Jimmy, the doctor declared that it was simply a very bad sprain. Scott's shoulders drooped in relief. Thank Aeor.
"I can commission him a carriage to take him back to his own empire," the doctor said. "But the earliest it'll be ready is tomorrow morning. I wouldn't recommend he flies either. The wind will wreak havoc on the tendons."
Scott nodded. "I understand. He can stay here for the night." He turned to face Jimmy. "O-only if you're okay with that though," he stuttered, mildly embarrassed. "I'd be honored," Jimmy said. Scott flushed, but he quickly composed himself once he remembered that the doctor was still standing there.
"I'll leave you to it," the doctor said, packing up his bag. A minute later, he was gone. "C'mon," Scott said. "Let's get you to bed." Jimmy rolled his eyes, but he still allowed Scott to bundle him up into his arms. He snuggled closer to Scott, nestling his head into the fur that lined the cloak over Scott's shoulder.
"I'm glad you'll be okay," Scott murmured quietly. Jimmy nodded. "At least it's not an explosion," he joked. "Or a death." "Don't joke about that," Scott said. "I worry about you enough as it is. You don't need to remind me of past lives."
"Awww," Jimmy cooed, eyes beginning to grow heavy. "You worry about me," he teased. Scott didn't respond. He simply just smiled down at him, an indecipherable look in his eyes. "Yeah, I do," Scott whispered. "I love you, Jimmy."
Note: i have no idea how voodoo works. i have used my imagination
Everyone had gathered at the McCall house to solve the latest problem. Everyone except Stiles. He was at Quantico for his FBI training. In spite of being busy with his own stuff, he had managed to find information regarding their current problem- a psychopath who slaughtered young women, with an axe. They all were currently staring at the print outs of Stiles’s information while he was briefing them through Skype.
I think it’s some kind of ritualistic killing. I have seen the crime scene pictures which dad sent me. You see this symbol- showing them a symbol- it is voodoo. It’s mainly used during sacrifice. There is more to it, but I need time.
It’s okay man. This is enough for now. Now that we have a basic idea, I am sure Y/N can find about more about it. Scott replied.
Y/N got to work and Stiles told them his goodbyes. The rest of them were trying to find if there is any link between the three murders. So far they were running empty in ideas. Until Y/N found something.
Got it. Stiles is right. That symbol is used for ritualistic sacrifice in voodoo. What I find interesting that this ritual is used to attain beauty beyond measure.
That is why only young women were killed. And no doubt they were exceptionally beautiful. Lydia said.
We need to find this killer. I don’t want to be someone’s sacrifice. Malia said.
Liam and Mason looked at her.
What? You don’t think I am beautiful?
Before either one of them could reply, Scott interrupted them.
Come on. We have to find this person. I’ll tell Sheriff what we have found. And ask Parrish to come.
After he made the call he sent Liam and Mason to look in the streets. Malia and Lydia were to go to places where people gathered and try to find any suspicious looking person. Scott was going to check the woods, and Parrish would join him later.
What about me? Y/N asked.
Huh?
What am I supposed to do? She asked again.
You’ll stay here. Scott replied as if it was the obvious answer.
No I’m coming with you. She said firmly.
Scott was about to argue but Lydia stopped him saying
We can do with an extra pair of eyes, Scott.
Reluctantly Scott agreed to let Y/N go.
In the woods
It had been more than an hour in the woods and Y/N was already pissed off. Scott was acting weird. He would not let you out of his sight. He constantly had held your arm and pulled you wherever he went. In normal circumstances she would have liked it. But at that moment she was beyond annoyed.
After searching for another couple of hours they decided to turn back. They met others in front of the animal clinic. Seeing  Y/N’s pissed off face, Lydia asked.
What happened?
Ask him. Y/N snapped pointing at Scott.
Lydia gave him a what did you do? look.
I just was trying to keep you safe. He replied.
Safe? Safe from what, Scott? I can look after myself. I took training from Derek and Argent. I can defend myself. Hell I can even defend your arse. She told him and walked away. Lydia and Scott watched her walk away. The banshee turned to look at Scott.
She is right. You know that.
I know Lydia. But I will not able to live if anything happened to her.
Hearing this Lydia could not help but ask
Why do you care?
Scott did not reply immediately. He too wondered why did he care. Before he could think any further he found himself saying
