ID: A chart mapping the nesting of folders in Dusty's Proloquo4Text. Arrows connect the main folder with its sub folders. There is About me, which leads to My Mobility. There is Medical, which leads to My Health Info, Scheduling, and Emergency room. There is therapy. There is Phone Calls. quick map of how my proloquo4text is organized. finished reorganizing it today and adding more info. will probably add more folders under Medical for more specific doctors as i need to. i prefer P4T when i am able to bring my keyboard / type steadily. all of the folders have phrases in them even if they lead to other more specific folders.

It changed from all sharp corners to all super rounded, and less characters can fit now on the buttons

I am still getting my Proloquo4text set up. I love the quick talk tab it’s so helpful. I need to organize it hahaha, I’ve just been adding quick talk items as they occur. I’ve been using the phrases less I think I might just move a bunch of them into one folder that I can scroll through to find my most used phrases quickly.

Excited to see what other people’s AAC look like!

What phrases or things do you think I should add to both sections? Do you have some favorite pre set up items? If so what are they?

That looks great! I used to use Proloquo4Text before switching to symbol-based aac. I also love the quick talk tab! It looks like you’ve done a thorough job of adding a variety of categories.

On my device, I have a page for compliments, things like, “Well done”, “Congratulations”, “You are awesome”, etc. I also have pages for various interests. For me those include things like going outdoors, swimming, toys, Sesame Street, music, etc.

I have my current quick talk page organised so that words o phrases that are frequently paired together, or associated with each other, are close to each other. For instance, I have “yes” and “please”, and “no” and “thank you” stacked on top of each other, so it’s easy to tap “yes please” or “no thank you” in quick succession.

I don’t know how visually oriented you are in terms of how you remember things, but I like to have my categories colour-coded, so instead of having to read down the list of categories word by word, I just have to find the colour of the category I want, which is much faster.

I don’t have a large following so please spread this if you can. I’m just now learning I need access to AAC so I got really lucky to figure it out in time for the sale. I want other people to benefit from it too if they can.
