Having great hearing without the ability to speak makes mimes appreciate a wide variety of non-lyrical music, including ska.

I was looking at Lisa’s website and realized that her position has changed from head writer to showrunner in season 3. And I realized that that’s probably how they’re compensating for no Rojda this season.

I think the former set up was probably a combo of a European vs American style thing and based on Lisa’s experience. In the US the showrunner is the lead writer and conceptual director; all the episode directors and editors report to the showrunner. But that’s not always true in Europe, and because Lisa had less experience as a showrunner/director having Rojda as conceptual director made sense for the first two seasons. But if Rojda had other commitments this season, that was ok because Lisa now has experience working directly with Rojda, and is able to step directly into the showrunner position. (I also remember Lisa talking about the difference between head writer and showrunner in an interview; maybe the permanent rain press one? I’m not sure).

i always hate answering this kind of question because it reveals a lack of understanding about how many variables go into storytelling that the storytellers cannot control.

An anon made this side-by-side comparison between Kazuki!Sara and the actual Sara. I love how every detail in Kazuki’s outfit is incorrect compared to the real Sara’s outfit. It really shows how much Ikuhara and the animation studio love and care about this anime.

Nearly all of the animation was done in Adobe Flash, a good 80% of the backgrounds were made in Adobe Illustrator then converted over into Flash, and about 20% of the other backgrounds were also done directly in Flash.
