Bit of a rant below

I have been neglecting my creative juices outside of spiderverse (and bg3) lately, unfortunately because I have been trying to stay somewhat relevant online. Gross, I know, but I want to sell art and, for me anyway, original art and obscure fandoms don't do numbers like Miguel's nutsack does (I blame no one, he is fine asf). I'm hoping to remedy this and start drawing stuff just for the sake of it instead of subconsciously restricting myself to fandom content because it's "easy" (which always ends up meaning I barely draw anything at all). But man, it is so discouraging when a shitty doodle of Miguel O'Hara ends up doing better than other drawings I've put my whole ass into making, just because the subject isn't a big beefy grumpy man. Don't get me wrong, I like him and I like drawing him, but it feels like I'm whoring him out lmao

At the very least Tumblr seems to be able to get my stuff into their respective fandoms if I tag it accordingly, like how my dragonlance drawing found dragonlance fans here, so as a relatively new Tumblr user I gotta say that's nice. Twitter has decided my one niche is a singular hot dude with muscles and it refuses to put me anywhere else (and if I tried to tag it with any tag that isn't trending it will, so I've heard, tank engagement worse than if there was no tag). Thanks Daddy Elon this will definitely get me to buy twitter blue!

Still extremely salty that Procreate screwed up all my brush folders with the new update, making have to redownload them all. I decided to give the new inking brushes a try. Ambrose and Indigo made me want to pull my hair out, but I see some potential in Franklin.
