Ok so we have a bunch of terms for transmasculine oppression and discrimination and related that we use, like:
And while I think these terms are useful, I don't think they encompass the whole scope of oppression and discrimination against transmascs. Whether it be that:
* They simply express prejudice prejudice was the best word I could find for what I meant, forgive me if it comes off wrong, like anti transmasculinity, transandromisia, or trans misandry.
* Commonly misused, like transandrophobia, as its definition is "How the fear of men impacts the material reality/physical health of trans men"
I actually don't have any issues with isomisogyny, given that its definition is "The intersection between transphobia and misogyny specifically directed at trans men and other transmasculine people". But I feel like we should have one word that encompasses all of transmasculine discrimination and oppression, including the concepts previously mentioned, to be able to make ourselves better understood.
I do think anti-transmasculinity had the potential to be this word, but it's been used along with transmisandry and transandromisia to the point of synonymization.
I'm obviously not an expert with words, so I would hope to get some help in trying to achieve this. If anyone has experience with this it could be great. Any kind of help, whether it be replies, reblogs, or anywhere else, is welcome!
