Dorm party!!
Or rather a casual get together on a day off thinly sliding into permissibility because it is labelled as a “dorm wide study session hosted in neutral territory” (But it’s a dorm party).
While several groups have taken to hosting smaller gatherings within the confines of their dorm hallways, or even smaller gatherings immediately in their rooms, the majority of students are congregated toward the lobbies of their dorms to allow for students across campus to visit without a penalty for not being in their correct areas. To further ensure that penalties aren’t issued, an assortment of studying materials has been brought onto the premises, which for all purposes, is good enough. (Or so the small arrangement squad of this fiasco would like to believe.)
Along the walls of the lobbies, there is an assortment of food usually disallowed on the grounds, permitted today because of the break. And because most are in high places when it comes to their family’s capital, this means a wonderful buffet with a wide range of meals that could make Bruce Wayne jealous.
When it comes to entertainment, aside from the abundance of conversation, some of the lobby televisions have movies playing on them. Some club owners have taken to advertising, some of the gamers have taken to tournaments, and some of the writers have taken to leaving.
The only true quiet (and moderately private) areas on campus have become the libraries and classrooms. Have fun, you non-delinquent delinquents!
