So this is a problem. For those that don’t know, this November MA is putting a question up on whether the transgender nondiscrimination law that was passed in 2016 should be repealed.
If this law gets repealed, transgender residents will face discrimination in public places and it will become more difficult for them to use the restroom based on what they identify as.
For those in other states who might be thinking “Oh, this won’t affect me at all!”
It will.
If this law gets repealed, the opponents (the people who approve of the repeal) will try to eliminate transgender protection laws across the United States.
Keep in mind, this article was at the back of the Pride magazine I picked up at a movie theater. Not many people I’ve talked to seem to know that this is going to happen. Please vote yes.
we been knew these two ladies were head over heels and knee deep gay for each other and this is really just the cherry on top…it really is 20gayteen
8!!
8) Do you have any stories from Pride?
- Hmm.... here’s some highlights from my first Pride:
The Pride we go to is in a big, crowded, busy city, so I was really proud of myself for driving there and in town and for not having a panic attack during all of that!
Someone told me my eyebrows looked snatched >.>
I got a fuck ton of compliments on my Pride poster, which I spent 15 hours making the night before (woops).
That poster also ended up in a picture in a news article the next day.
I made a lot of very loud jokes about the homophobic, religious protestors (I wanted them to hear me lmao), and people around me started quoting me on Twitter 😂
We joined in on a lot of chants while we were waiting to get into the gated part of Pride. The best chant was probably “Homo sex is in” (because the religious homophobes there had a sign that said “Homo sex is sin”).
Not really a highlight, but I super wanted to fight this guy who was upset that I didn’t put the bear flag on my poster, the poster I spent 15 hours on and put 28 flags on....The disrespect... I was big mad lmao.
We joined an ICE protest as we were leaving Pride.
Send me more pan asks!
