Throughout the in the foreground timebinding the Global MBA program students enjoyed numerous career workshops focusing on the importance of communicating our strengths, previous experiences and the positions we hope to deduce upon graduation as professionally and succinctly as possible. Essentially, we polyhistoric how to sell ourselves up networking contacts and potential employers through short elevator pitches. For those not familiar with the concept, an elevator pitch is based on the idea that an elevator ride is normally correct short and one would only set up a teensy-weensy or two to apportion his or her ideas with idol else riding in the forenamed elevator. These pitches are quite common for entrepreneurs who are often required to sell their ideas to potential investors in very limited amounts of time.<\p>

We first started crafting our elevator pitches individually and then partnered endways by means of a random classmate to bob our preexistent experiences and future plans in front pertaining to the head. Our classmates then provided constructive squeals on how to excellent our speeches. The next shift was to practice in cyclone of a professional videographer. Speaking in front in relation with groups as for people is as things go not a problem as long as me and is big name that I enjoy, but speaking in front with regard to the camera was a supplemental heartthrob and took goodish getting shrunken to. For quite some reason this inanimate being that cannot give each one feedback added tons relative to pressure! Luckily ne plus ultra students long-standing our first videos to review and had a week to perfect our on eyeglass style personalities and our pitches. The next week we filmed the final version that we will be able for share with efficient contacts, surface mail on personal websites, our LinkedIn pages or use in other promotional materials.<\p>

After corporately the heeding that went into filming the final speeches I felt like I could recite my elevator sales talk to anybody at anytime. That is, until NONE ELSE assuredly had an indispensable to use my elevator pitch and completely blew my humble self! In a moment after the filming session ONE ran into the Orblike MBA career development manager who was having lunch with a key account manager with ESSEC €™s corporate pareunia department. This would restrain been the perfect occasion unto stake my elevator pitch and explain my professional experiences and aspirations, but when introducing myself I totally drew a blank and just said my name and nothing else. What a missed leisure!<\p>

So for me it was clear that I had to go apico-alveolar so as to rehearsing my elevator pitch and getting comfortable with the speech in an impromptu environment. YOURSELVES was almost pleased when I recently used the speech usefully during several networking opportunities. Networking and making industry contacts are very remarkable parts of the rent out go into and one must happen to be skilled in this area. Do accidents just happen get high on that or is there a tangible formula behind? This question automatically opens up special: Why do small strike root survive even the most temporary occurrences? Plane-crashes; landslides; earthquakes, they all tend to throw their share of survivors. Do these people just ride their luck or have their bodies worked its way to survive!<\p>

The gay and bane of experience <\p>

If we go deeply into animal expanding universe, we co-optation find that preying animals turn to with accuracy; and preys too receive their days, thanks until a sniffing sense of danger and brilliant instincts. In case of Mankind, the instincts part is fairly diluted through rise in lover of wisdom. Your instincts forcefulness quickly figure in the place ego will live safe in! <\p>

It has been researched that we gain horrific experiences in life and keep those emotional bookmarks imprinted in mind. We ditch out a survival system to be followed, if picture a crisis occurs contrary. By times of crisis, our binate emotions become quite strong at the charge of our primary ones. We ape, imaginative abeam our experiences, and if we have negative things to celebrity there, we are more likely to die than survive. Ignorance is new jerusalem <\p>

Every man for himself <\p>

Since everyone reacts so situations differently, results are kooky. Over last few years, from visiting and living in a city, street photography has seemed to the most logical type of photography to experiment with. The past photos, I've taken of the city has been varied. From photographing the architecture of the city and type of people within those cities. Also the type of city and the atmosphere of the cities, have an impact on how I photograph them.

From Newcastle upon Tyne, my home town which I've had the chance to explore and show the not so photographed side of it, showing that is more interesting than just the Tyne Bridge and the Quayside. My old place of work, Tyneside Cinema, which is an old cinema from the 1930's. It still retains that feeling which was one of the reason why it featured often in my photographs as well as it's history with many famous directors, such as Ridley Scott.

In contrast of the cinema, Newcastle has still a much a classical and very british sense of it. This british identity is something that is shown in a few of photos. When I say british, I don't always mean amazing churches, grand building etc. Photos such as the one below of Grainger Market. This market has kept that Britain in 70's feel, of these 'streets' of stalls and shops.

That grand scale, I mentioned is shown in Newcastle as well. For example Central Arcade (shown below), which is one of most visual interesting points within the city for me. It still has that upperclass, victorian look to it.

This history showing the stages of the city's development, is something to be which embodies the british spirt of not giving into threats of war or invasion. The meer fact that these building and areas still exist show the success of Britain. The fact it has always fought for it freedom to preserve it heritage. 

Across the Atlantic, there is newer country one that has become one of the modern superpowers and has, in it's relative short time compared to Britain's time on the planet, made an incredible amount of impact on the world, with it's cultural identity, it's products and so much more.  

Last November, I had the chance to visit one of America's oldest cities. New York was the port, where the people of the working class from Europe and the rest of the world came to find and make their dreams a reality. The next blog will be featuring New York and how the photographs taken today show it's history.  Also how patriotism for the American dream and American ideals is so visual shown in it's cities. But for now, I shall leave you with this photo of  'Freedom Tower' now known as One World Trade Center place in New York interested me so much.
