Could IceWings have melanism??
And if so culturally how do you think they would be treated by the other Icewings who may mistake them for an Ice/night hybrid? And with the hostility between the two tribes how would the culture respond to it?
Could an Icewing be born with melanism and would IceWing culture affect how it was treated?
Icewings with Melanism exist, but I don’t think they’d be treated strangely
Icewings with Melanism exist, and would be met with hostility
Icewings with Melanism probably do exist, and wouldn’t be treated bad
Icewings with Melanism probably do exist, and would be treated hostility
Icewings with Melanism have a 50/50 for existing or not and one for reaction
Icewings with Melanism probably don’t exist; if they did they’d be treated bad
Icewings with Melanism probably don’t exist; if they did they’d be treated fine
Icewings with Melanism don’t exist— therefore cannot be treated bad
Icewings with Melanism don’t exist, if they did they would be met with hostility

Albino raccoons have been getting a lot of attention recently, but I did some research and melanistic raccoons exist too! Took a minute to track down an image that wasn't just uncredited pintrest repost garbage or AI bullshit unfortunately.

I spotted a melanistic squirrel on my walk this afternoon. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a grey squirrel (that’s the actual type of squirrel, not the color of its fur) with a pelt that dark! What a beautiful little creature.
