Connor's 🪙 headcanon!
(tw: mention of multiple Connor's deaths/memory loss).
Merlin, let us get this pretty straight. Shall we ?
Merlin is told that it is his destiny to save the prince who will become King of Albion and so on, but what happens then? What happens when Arthur becomes king? Nothing ever really changes, magic is still forbidden. Merlin is still afraid of Arthur
Who was the reason Mordred's turn against Arthur? Merlin
Who was jealous and doubt was eating his heart from Mordred ? Merlin
Well, what if the entire prophecy was really fake? The truth is that Merlin's obsession with saving Arthur was absolute and unconditional. It became beyond his control. Some may object, but Merlin was prepared to kill whoever stood between him and Arthur and their ambitions. His Knights. His wife. His uncle. His friends. There are many situations. If you focus a little, you will find that when someone interfered in his relationship with Arthur, Merlin would despise them and get jealous
they saw this coming, and they were the ones who prepared merlin for this matter. He had been a child since he was next to Arthur, he grew up and everyone was screaming in his ear, “Protect Arthur, protect the future king, protect, protect.”
Until Arthur dies because of Merlin. And guess what happened after Arthur's death? Gwen, Arthur's wife, allowed magic to return to Camelot again.
They believed that Arthur must die after he marry Gwen, so it was Merlin's mission to keep Arthur alive until this moment, and then Merlin would start making mistakes Because his fear exceeded the limits, and not only did he become afraid that Arthur wouldn't allow magic, but the idea of Arthur's death was like death to him as well, and also the idea of Arthur not accepting his magic.
And all that were in their favor. Which ultimately leads to Arthur death.

Wouldn’t it kinda make sense for White Diamond to give up her form to make Steven in this AU if only because she thought she was helping her planet? This is just a what if scenario… but, what if, when a gem is totally broken beyond repair — like the gem army — their “resources”, their “light” is returned back to the soil? Now, that’s just a theory, because what if that could also explain the strawberry field? A gem’s light can be used to restore “drained” planets because that’s basically what they are. Sentient ecosystems…
SVSSS Shang Qinghua AU
Imagine if, like Shen Yuan's, Shang Qinghua's system punished him for abandoning the narrative or almost revealing himself, but still allowed the butterfly effect and his personal influence on other characters to play out
Imagine if the story still follows PIDW until Shen Yuan shows up, which is maybe even why Shen Yuan shows up

Breath of the Wild, except after Link got the Master Sword, he uses it to deal with the Yiga members that attack him.
First he’ll either restrain them or knock them out.
Then he’ll just drop the Master Sword on them, letting her steal the lifeforce from them to replenish her own strength.
And if he leaves her on them for too long?
Well, it’s one way to deal with the Yiga. Permanently.
So I've been having a bit of Sans brainrot recently and I thought of something pretty chilling.
Y'know when Sans does his whole 'dead where you stand' thing?
What if he meant something more dark.
Because one of the only ways to beat someone who can control time is to break them mentally.
That promise may have been the only thing keeping him from judging Frisk guilty and then delivering proper judgement.
A twisted form of mercy in not going further than needed, but just enough to make sure that when they die next they don't have the determination to come back.
I just headcanon him as having slowly lost his moral compass throughout his life, and only judges in accordance to the law.
He may be fond of Frisk, heck even care about the kid, but he may only keep his promise as he is aware that it is the Queen behind the door, and that is an order.
He only breaks his promise when the human has shown absolutely no choice of redemption; following the best he can, while also staying true to his occupation.
So he isn't protecting Frisk from the general underground, but from himself.
