they ate at a chinese restaurant! and the setting looked so chinatown with the upside down āfuā (ē¦) and the picture menus pasted on the walls. it was like v accurate.
okay so the tea isnāt from the restaurant scene but itās really bothering me that thereās the vertical floating tea leaf because i swearĀ that the vertical tea leaf was referenced in another anime i watched as being a good omen but i canāt remember for the life of me what anime it was and why the hell i even remember that probably insignificant detail..... help.
as for the anime itself, iāve only watched the first two episodes so far so i canāt really say much but people have been raving about it so iām giving it a whirl. as you might have guessed from the subtitles...itās about DICTIONARIES! (wow so excite. much enthrall) there are these little cutesy cartoon intermission segments about dictionaries in each episode (so far), which is a little jarring, itās like watching a cartoon within a cartoon #inception?
