My little guy is on a big #cereal kick lately and was asking for some this week at the store. I don't mind keeping an #allnatural, #wholegrain box around for a treat (his fave is the Envirokids Peanut Butter Panda Puffs, but decided we would make our own. And thos is plenty sweet and still quite a treat! I cleaned up my Cleaner Brown Sugar Granola even more by using #coconutsugar instead of brown sugar. And today we used #driedcranberries and #pecans. Did you know wet #sand or a walk down the #beach is one of the best way to #getgrounded? Why? Think back to grade school science class...#water is an awesome conductor! I was skeptical I'll admit when I first heard of #earthing but try it yourself and see. I've been consciously doing it for about a year and a couple of months ago my pair of grounding shoes broke (that I wore EVERYWHERE!) and suddenly the asthma and eczema were acting up, my feet and legs ached during the day, nighttime restless legs came back with a vengeance, my cycles went a little off, and I haven't been sleeping as well...and I realized the biggest difference in my routine? I wasn't making an effort to ground myself (research says all it takes is about 15 minutes a day to reap the benefits). What is grounding? It's letting your body absorb the natural ions and electrical field of the earth. How do you do it? There are a few ways but the simplest and cheapest? Just take your shoes off! I find it fascinating what an amazing world we live on and how God just put everything we need right here! He created this earth for us and made it this way for a reason. Skeptical? Do a little research and give it a shot. I did while searching for #naturalremedies for relief from aforementioned issues and more, figuring I really had nothing to lose, and now I am hooked! As is this guy! He loves the water like his mama. I've been trying to sweet talk hubby into getting one of those pricey bed mats, but in the meantime I'll just take little Henry's cue here.
