Please keep Benny in your thoughts and prayers tonight, he is very sick. 😿 It’s liver shunt/hepatic encephalopathy acting up again. Normally I can get it under control within a day with lactulose medication, but I’m worried because he’s had a lot of thick saliva/foam today and he hasn’t had that in years. We are very fortunate to live within a few minutes of an emergency vet and vet clinics if necessary. I hope our poor boy has another miraculous recovery in the middle of the night, as he’s known to have.
