BLACK CAT FRIDAY!

Leo's going home today (at about 2:30 pm for those who want to watch on our YouTube Kitten webcam - https://www.youtube.com/@SnapcatsOrg/streams) with his (hopefully) new parents, Tina & Paul. Leo’s not going too far (San Anselmo) and will reunite with Wolfie, who Tina & Paul adopted last month. Leo will have Wolfie and several new kitties to play with, and a few cat-friendly dogs to terrorize.

Thank you, Tina & Paul, for (hopefully) adding Leo to your warm, loving home!

Gigi is 7 years 11 months-old and sponsored by Michael Snider. SNAP Cats rescued GiGI from Palm Springs, CA. This girl is all Calico! And you know what THAT means. Sweet one minute; not so sweet the next. Age has mellowed her a bit, but she still has that edge that makes calicos, well, calicos. The perfect home? A calm, kid-free environment with a high perch and a window to watch the birds outside would be ideal. Oh, and wet food. GiGi LOVES wet food. Gotta have that! The right flavor, of course. Which varies from day to day. Of course.

TWO FOR TUESDAY!

Isa and Sage are 3 years 3 months-old and sponsored by Stefanie Kraus. SNAP Cats rescued Isa and Sage from Fresno, CA. These siblings are very sweet, affectionate kitties. They love attention, and will follow you around meowing for pets and rubs. Their ataxia is mild+. Their back ends sway side-to-side a bit when they walk/run. But Isa and Sage don’t fall or need any kind of assistance to get where they’re going, including atop cat tress, shelves and counters. Isa and Sage will make a wonderful addition to anyone looking for extremely affectionate, loving kitties!

Although we’d love to see Isa and Sage adopted together, they’re not bonded. So they can be adopted separately. But please adopt them together!

Thanks to a generous Operations Grant from @petfinderfoundation, we were able to purchase three months’ worth of food for Isa and Sage as they await their forever home.

This is Princess Donut (yes we are). She’s about 11 weeks-old and visually challenged. Princess Donut arrived at the Moreno Valley shelter with her left eye severely protruding and suffering from a significant upper respiratory infection. After evaluation by their veterinary team, her left eye was enucleated to relieve her pain and prevent further complications. Throughout Princess Donut’s recovery, shelter staff provided intensive supportive care, including syringe feeding and subcutaneous fluids. Four days ago, after some gentle coaxing, Princess Donut ate on her own for the first time. Despite this encouraging milestone, Princess Donut still requires extensive care. She is suspected to have limited or no vision in her remaining right eye, and her upper respiratory infection continues to affect her overall comfort and recovery. She also has a persistent left-sided head tilt that may require additional diagnostics and ongoing medical evaluation. Princess Donut is a resilient little warrior who has already overcome so much in her short life.

Raven is 2 years 9 months-old and sponsored by Christine and Anthony Durso. SNAP Cats rescued Raven from Long Beach, CA. Raven is an extremely vocal cat, who's full of energy and loves to play. Her ataxia doesn’t stop her from doing anything! Raven loves attention and wet food treats. She gets along well with the other kitties here, so Raven will make a wonderful addition to a home with cats.

GRAY CAT WEDNESDAY!

We’re skipping White Cat Wednesday this week to celebrate Samson completing his 84 day treatment for FIP. And, on top of that, Samson will be going into Foster to Adopt with Alicia and Jaden, who fell in love with Samson (84 days ago) and have been visiting him throughout his treatment and can’t wait to take him home!

We are going to keep Samson here for a month to make sure his FIP doesn’t return. Then, it’s off to Alicia’s and Jaden’s to (hopefully) spend the rest of his life.
