#practical sets

It was so much easier on the eyes because of the real sets and attention to details. I was so sick of the glossy/shimmer of VFX! We need more and more practical set design. No shade to VFX people, you guys are great, but pieces like Frankenstein/Dracula require physical craftspeople!

On the bright side, Project Hail Mary and The Backrooms both heavily incorporating practical sets and, it seems, both being well received, might indicate a developing pattern!

Love practical sets so much, I love how it looks like the Labyrinth is a place I could actually walk around in. It's why that movie still has true childhood magic, why it still feels magical.

The fact that Agatha all along was a practical set, brings me so much joy!!!! YES GIVE ME BACK PRACTICAL SETS BRING ME BACK SPECIAL EFFECTS!!!! Bring it all back
