More hallway art. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but Josh standing right between two paintings when Silva is about to tell him: You looked at your current boyfriend and you said your ex-boyfriend's name... Feels symbolic. The image is also doubled in the glass of the door on the right. So maybe I'm not looking into it too much lol.

The rec room plays such an important role, and I love that there's a mural.

I think this is the painting Ericka talks about in 1x12 when she says she bought an "investment piece." It seems like this painting at Dana's apartment is her replacement for it.

Oliver, of course, has tons of art on the walls of his home, though, notably, not paintings. It's botanical prints and photos, so more documentary and scientific, rather than purely artistic. His office is the same way. A contrast with Carol's house and office.

It's interesting, too, how Oliver changes his office art over time, adding things or moving them.

Carol has much different art from Oliver. This is one of my favorite shots. I remember the first time I saw it. I was so startled by that expression, and the vivid color.

Is this supposed to be art on the wall of Josh's season one office? Lol. Gabriel Ferguson would have something to say. Maybe this is some sort of equipment or light table? I sure hope so because if it's supposed to be art, Josh needs therapy.

Muriel also needs therapy. This isn't a painting that should be on a hospital wall.

The art in the patient rooms sometimes expresses an emotion that fits with the patient. Even when that patient is Oliver—an amazing painting to choose for his scene in the sleep study room.

Noah and Oliver both have fern drawings on the wall. I almost wonder if that one on Noah's wall was drawn by Oliver when he was a kid.

And Noah's art, which has some common ground with Oliver's, but also some differences.

I love 1x09 for all the art. And the discussion of it.
