For those times when you want something crunchy and salty, these crispy potato tots are a great snack or side dish. These tater tots are made with grated potatoes, garlic, onion, and Parmesan cheese. They are baked until they are golden brown and fluffy on the inside.
Ingredients: 2 large potatoes, peeled and grated. 1/4 cup breadcrumbs. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/2 teaspoon onion powder. Salt and pepper to taste. 2 tablespoons olive oil.
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 400F 200C. Place the grated potatoes in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out excess moisture. In a mixing bowl, combine the grated potatoes, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well. Form the mixture into small tots or cylinders, about 1 inch in size. Place the tots on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, ensuring they are evenly spaced. Drizzle olive oil over the tots. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
