Summary: 

“That’s exactly it,” Finn says, tone angry and full of the conviction that got him appointed general in a galactic war. “You didn’t sign up for this.” Poe turns Finn’s face towards him, gently cupping his jaw so that their gazes meet. “I thought I did,” he says softly, and he closes the gap between them. “I Poe,” he kisses Finn again, slow and tantalizing “take you, Finn...” This time, the kiss is long, and Finn shifts towards him, opening to the connection. His hands travel to Poe’s hair, pulling their bodies together. “...in sickness,” Poe continues when they separate, still punctuating his next words with another kiss, “and in health.”

The last tag on this fic is #Sad and boy oh boy does that summarise it well. I read it as the chapters were being released through quarantine and was simultaneously heartbroken and amazed. 

It’s a long one that deals with Finn’s health deteriorating due to an unknown illness and although that sounds really heavy the comfort parts from each character in their own way is heartwarming.

The domestics element of the family Finn and Poe have built for themselves is great with some fantastic OC’s for their children.

I imagine it could be a cathartic read for someone who has gone through something similar.

Okay, this is a short, sweet one-shot about Poe and Finn going back to Yavin IV to set up a life there. It’s what I mentally refer to as a “Call me Kes” fic where we get that cute trope moment between Finn and Kes where he tells him to stop calling him Sir (I fall for it every time.)

It’s pretty Poe centric and deals with past emotions of him leaving home for the Resistance etc. which is an angle I really enjoyed.
