quick Cassie painting bc WOW
I made a post on the gram and the clock app talking about my favorite free resources as an artist. Or rather, just mentioning them.
ANYWAY
One of them is HeadModelStudio. It provides a movable 3D model of a variety of head and facial feature references. You can adjust some of the models to avoid same face syndrome. You can save the reference as a still so you don’t accidentally move it while you’re using it. You can adjust focal length. AND you can adjust the position, intensity, and color of your lighting! HeadModelStudio is what I used to draw this little study

Didn't turn out exactly as expected, but still fun to work on!
Medieval Art References
Yo, I don’t usually post my own stuff but i’ve gotten a hankering for drawing European medieval, ~13th century, portraits and outfits. But all of the sources I get from google are sensationalized and not accurate.
Does anybody have historically accurate resources to the types of clothing and hairstyles that were worn in the middle ages? Plain clothes or armor, or anything. Help me out with links please.
