intra[x] - not engaging with and/or desiring [x] with anyone outside of one’s own system.

labels that use this would be intrasexual, intraromantic, intraplatonic, intrafamilial, intralove, etc etc. you understand.

I’ve seen many systems - including our own - who are aspec, but have the exception of their own headmates. I thought perhaps having a word for this would be useful.

also, note:

anyone can use these terms. I don’t care about origin, if you’re questioning, if you even use the label “system” - if it resonates, feel free to use it. we used the word system in the definition for simplicity, but anyone who resonates (even singlets? not sure how that’d work but I don’t judge) can use it. hi polyminds!

the and/or was very intentional. you can engage in sex out of sys but still only feel sexual attraction to headmates, and you can feel sexual attraction towards those out of sys but only have sex with headmates, and you can feel sexual attraction & have sex with only your headmates. All of these experiences fall under this umbrella. I want this to be as inclusive as I could reasonably make it.

More polymind terms woah [fuckin explodes] (Idk if these were already coined)

Apaminded - Someone who doesn't really pay attention to their mindshifts/swaps or think about their polymindence a lot

Shark - A mind that's difficult to understand or is difficult to make out the nature/personality of Ghost - A mind that feels faint or distant

Chameleon - A mind that is fluid or changes

Overminded - Someone who thinks about their polymindence a lot and constantly focuses on their mindshifts/swaps

Fluiminded - Someone who fluctuates between thinking about their polymindence a lot to barely paying attention to it

making these for myself but anyone can use

Retail Worker:

A job for a mind that's only active while working retail (as a legal occupation)

Regressor:

A job for minds that age regress, pet regress, age dream and/or pet dream. I know 'regressling' has already been coined but to my understanding a regressling forms from regressing and this is more of a goal/task that a mind has/does.

Available: When you can receive input from a mind and communicate without them being active.

These are all polymind terms, and job terms.

WishCarrier ; A job for minds who carry the mindsets wishes, dreams, desires, and hopes. A WishCarrier might keep ahold of those wishes till the mindset is ready, or encourage the mindset to pursue said wishes through encouragement.

Nightmind ; A job for minds who only become active during the night for any reason. This could be due to needing to stay awake, being mindbound to night, needing to be a Bed aid, and so on and so fourth.

Daymind ; A job for minds who only become active during the day for any reason. This can be due to needing to try to sleep, being mindbound to day, needing to wake up more, and so on and so fourth.

Responsener ; A job for minds who become active when the mindset feels it needs to respond to a stressful/traumatic situation via: Fight, Flight, Freeze, and/or Fawn.

Fawnener ; A job for minds who become active when the mindset feels it needs to respond to a stressful/traumatic situation via fawning.

Freezener ; A job for minds who become active when the mindset feels it needs to respond to a stressful/traumatic situation via freezing.

Fightener ; A job for minds who become active when the mindset feels it needs to respond to a stressful/traumatic situation via fighting.

Flightener ; A job for minds who become active when the mindset feels it needs to respond to a stressful/traumatic situation via fleeing/flighting.

Communicator ; A job for minds who become active when another mind needs help communicating or speaking due to scribal or verbal issues.

Constructor ; A job for minds who help the mindset create or add onto a mindsets mindspace.

Woker ; A job for minds who attempt to get the rest of the mindset or other people more "Woke", what this means is up to user.

Enabler ; A job for minds who enable other minds to continue doing bad things, such as: bad habits, and bad coping mechanisms. The enabling can be in any form of enabling. This is not the same as an Impulse.

Hello! As the coiner of Ambomindence, I'll like to explain who works my term and a identity like Ambomind.

Monomind: sees their subpersonalities as the same person

Ambomind: sees their subpersonalities as different individuals but not independent individuals

Polymind: sees their subpersonalities as totally independent individuals and different to the Anchor

I hope y'all can understand better my term :P
