Hybrids, fortunately, aren't quite as affected by this. That doesn't mean Impulse hasn't been found nursing his 10th cup of coffee during winter Hermitcraft meetings, or that there have been multiple search and rescue missions to find where Tango had passed out mining packed ice (even though every Hermit would be glad to fetch it for him)

It pains Zed that he can't help his boyfriends fight their instincts. He always tries to be there for them with blankets and hot drinks and cuddles to keep them warm, but he always feels like he's not doing enough. Even when he's done everything he can, on the coldest nights of winter they sometimes stay asleep for days at a time, and all Zed can do is just lie with them and make them comfortable until they wake up.

(Personally, Impulse and Tango agree that Zed's help is so much more than enough, and that they're endlessly grateful for him. They just don't know how to get it through his adorable thick skull...)

Humans have their own vulnerabilities too! Like how Zed spends so long looking after them, he often forgets to look after himself...
