But, how old was Mamakechi? 🤔

She probably wasn't in her 30s because (according to creator comments in the artbook on Kawakami) Kawakami is in her 30s and she has trouble getting requested because she's considered "over the hill"/too old".

So, I'd wager Goro's mom had to have been in her 20s, so nothing above 30.

Info on her in-game is scarce so obviously we don't know her age or name, but that's why we have headcanons!

And for picking birth year and age for one in particular I need some help.

Toranosuke Yoshida, (Sun Arcana).

Shido has a canonical age; Shido is 53 and therefore born in 1963. Since he and Yoshida are both in the political career field I'm using Shido's age as reference, so the question is---

Is Toranosuke Yoshida older or younger than Masayoshi Shido?

While it's never stated that Goro's mom was "poor," we know from Goro's recollection of things like, he had to heat up food in the microwave, that he and his mom weren't in the best situation financially.

But like---did Mamakechi always have money troubles, or did Goro's birth put her in money troubles?

I don't know how much the hospital bill is for giving birth in Japan, but apparently it's much more reasonable compared to America.

Anyways, I'm curious, do you think Goro was born In a hospital or unexpected home birth?
