the year is 1523 — the world changed for the worst

a singular mistake led to the reveal of the supernatural. unable to control their bloodlust, a vampire committed the greatest sin — killing their soulmate ( and their family ). hunted down by vengeful supernaturals to be properly punished, it seemed everyone would pay the price once they’d been caught. soulmarks, which adorned the skin of the supernatural immortals ( as well as their counterparts ) vanished. cursed for an indefinite amount of time, generations of witches, humans and wolves alike were born and died; skin empty of marks and unaware of who might have ben their other half.

five hundred years have passed — are second chances warranted?

it started amongst the eldest vampires — a distinct tingling along the skin where their soulmark had once been ( only now, they were visible once more ). like a chain reaction, vampires ( and their soulmarked counterparts ) across the globe were getting their marks back. with their sudden reappearance, will people be able to find their happiness, or will the brewing conflict in everwinter prevent peaceful unity?
