#pointless whinging

I knew going into this thing what would probably happen. I read all the comics decades ago. I’ve been half-hoping that they might change something, but it looks like they have the arc all planned out and they’re intending to follow the books. Also, I think it would change the story more than anybody would want if they did. Anybody but me, that is.

I haven’t seen anybody else mention this except maybe one or two people in passing. But I knew it would probably have to come to this, and I’m not okay with it.

I’m tired of Every. Single. One. of my favorite characters dying. EVERY ONE. ALL THE TIME. Can I not have just ONE of them live? Just ONE?

There was a big screed in here about how everyone treated Morpheus like crap and never gave him any credit whatsoever for the change he did manage to effect and the sacrifices he made to do the right thing in the end, but I deleted it after realizing that probably nobody cares to read it.

I’m just tired. I wish I was a normal person. Normal people don’t get so attached to fiction. They don’t care much. They finish the book or whatever it is and then they’re done and they don’t feel things too strongly after it’s over and they don’t have to suffer so much.
