solidifies tomorrow’s b-day plans with my friend (dinner and a concert hELL YEAh)

plans involve me meeting him in brooklyn, and i’ve never actually gone into the city or anything alone before??? oh no oh no oh no

anxiously procrastinates on looking up directions while watching youtube videos and checking various art sites

decides FUCK IT it’s my birthday tomorrow, i’ve been dodging my mom’s questions about gifts, i’m gonna get splatoon

asks mom if i can go to gamestop and buy a $60 game for myself for my b-day gift (mom’s like hell yeah)

drives 2 gamestop with “stronger than you” on repeat because it’s my fuckin jam

parks car in parking lot, suddenly becomes very aware and self-conscious of the fact that my outfit is pink as FUCK cuz i wasn’t planning on going anywhere today

nervously skitters past them while avoiding eye contact

enters gamestop, sees there like 3 people chillin by the wii u display

nervously sidesteps near them and reeeeeaches over n grabs a copy of splatoon while remaining as far from people as possible and avoiding eye contact

goes over to register, miraculously gets a lady for a cashier (i’m extra nervous around men oops)

purchases adorable squid game, dude bro car is no longer outside when i’m done NICE

gets in car, takes a second to admire game’s box while recovering from social interaction

puts “stronger than you” on repeat again and proceeds to drive home while rockin’ out (except for when i’m at a red light and there are cars around me cuz i’m really self conscious oops)

arrives home w/ adorable squid game, is greeted FRIENDLY CAT FRIENDS and rad mom

decides to make pointless blog post instead of playing adorable squid game cuz my mom just started using the tv and i have no prob waiting to play until she goes to bed

feels slightly less shitty than before cuz now i have splatoon ayyyyy*
