You might know what blanket permission means, but if not, here’s a Fanlore link. If you are active in fandom, please consider having one of your own and/or adding the “blanket permission” tag when posting on AO3, if applicable.Â
If you want to create any kind of transformative work from my stuff (podfic, translation, fanart, repods, fanmix, moodboards or anything else) you have my enthusiastic consent and support! This includes using my headcanons/meta and plotbunnies.
If podficcing my written works, feel free to remove dialogue tags, change words/lines to improve the flow or make pronouncing things easier. Feel free to make more substantial changes too (it’s a transformative work, after all! transform away!), but in that case please do put a note somewhere saying you changed the text, just for clarity.
Please do credit me where possible/applicable (for example, sometimes I don’t even remember if things are canon or fanon, or I find that someone is already writing a fic I had a plotbunny for) and link to the original fic or post.
Please let me know once you’ve posted because knowing I’ve inspired someone would make me incredibly happy!
The only two things I would like to know about in advance are if you plan on writing within the verse of an ongoing multi chapter fic, and if you plan on using any of my OCs. Let’s be honest, I highly doubt I’ll go around vetoing people’s ideas, but I’d just like some warning on those specific things!
Feel free to make covers for any podfic of mine that doesn't already have one - or make alternative covers for those that do, actually, if you'd like! (you're here for Coverart Bingo, aren't you? I've got your back.)
If I collaborate with someone else, please check their permission policy if they have one or ask them about using our work.
And finally, since the Fanlore article gave me the idea, I welcome concrit, from pointing out spelling mistakes to plot holes. And definitely pronunciation errors in my podfic, do point those out and don’t feel like you’re being mean. I want my podfic to be as easy to understand and follow as possible.
