You took me out to the park with the pond one day We strolled through the breeze and the rustling peeled gum trees. It was all bright green such as traffic lights go. Yet, time stood still on its tip-toeing feet to get a good peek, its fingers continued to fidget, little did I know. You spoke in hush tones to keep your voice a secret. The promise you made, that Iâll always keep it. From prying eyes of this world, Iâll handle it with utmost care. That one day at the park with the pond, I knew if I ever lost you Iâd be deeply scared.
