Summary:Â Requested!DracoMalfoyxPlusSized!Reader! Modern AU. Draco and yourself are pretty much terrified of meeting his dad. He is a big-time businessman, and you donât come from wealth. Plus you feel not as worthy because you are plus sized.
Authorâs Note:Â Sorry if Draco seems a bit out of character! So this Rental Laptop is slow, but a lot better than my old one! Thank you all for your patience! I am going to have stories coming out as much as possible! Trying to save up for the desktop that I want(a friend suggested making a GoFundMe, but I dunno). I have a lot of Star Wars and BOTW request. Feel free to send in your Game of Thrones requests!
Disclaimer:Â I do not own Harry Potter or the characters. Also, I do not own this GIF, found on GIPHY
âOh come on babe, it wonât be so bad.â Draco soothed, playing with your hair. Although he was nervous about the two of you meeting, he tried not to show it. Besides, you were a nervous wreck as you tossed clothes around in the apartment.
âAre you kidding me? Your father owns Malfoy Enterprises, my dad dropped out of High School.â You groaned, pulling the dress Draco had gotten you for your birthday out of the closet.
The two of you had met in your first year of college. You had worked your ass off to get into an ivy league on scholarship, while he was able to afford it. The two of you were in the same classes, both getting a business degree.
You never expected to have fallen in love with someone who seemed so different than you. You worked hard for everything you had, and things seem to come so easy to Draco. Sure, he was rough around the edges, but somehow, you had managed to fall in love.
Occasionally he would make a comment about the working class, and you were always quick to shut it down and teach him. You knew it was how he was raised, though, you couldnât blame him. After all, you had thought ill of the rich until the two of you had begun dating.
âYou met my mother, and she loved you! She said you were the best girl I ever dated.â Draco said as he flopped down on your bed, watching you get ready.
âThat is different. I met her over an intimate tea session. It was literally just myself and her. I am meeting your father at a charity fundraiser. You know how many upper-class people are going to be there? He is going to take one look at me and think âfat, poor, lazy, slobâ.â You vented, sighing in frustration as you put your dress on.
âHey! Stop that. You are beautiful and wonderful, and so amazing. He is going to see that. And your weight has nothing to do with your character.â Draco said, but you only rolled your eyes.
âYou have to say that Draco. But I know how your kind of people are. They only care about looks and wealth. I have neither of those things.â You remind him, as you begin to finish your hair and makeup.
âBabe, you know I donât care about those things,â Draco said defensively, crossing his arms.
âI know, but I know how other people are. And what if your dad doesnât think I am good enough. Iâm sure he has enough power to make me disappear.â You said, only causing Draco to chuckle.
âHe is the owner of a company, not some mob boss Y/N. It will be okay!â The blonde assured although he couldnât help but be nervous himself.
He knew how people in his circle were. He once dated a girl with a more prominent nose, and people would suggest to her to get a nose job. It was cruel, and he disliked those shallow people. Thankfully, they werenât all like that. He had met some great people, and those people were so happy and loved Y/N a lot, and was thankful that you and Draco had started dating.
âDo I look okay?â You asked, stepping away from the mirror and showing off yourself to Draco. The dress accented your curves but flowed out right when it got to your stomach. It was your favorite dress, and it was Dracoâs favorite dress to take off you.
âYou look amazing, beautiful, and oh so wonderful. I canât wait to take this off of you tonight.â Draco teased, standing up to wrap his arms around you.
âOh hush, come on. Letâs go.â You said with a laugh, giving him a quick kiss.
~
It didnât take too long to get to the Malfoy Mansion, and no matter how many times you visited, you were in awe of the size. It was nothing like the home you grew up in, and definitely better than the cramped apartment you lived in now. The outside was gorgeous, and the inside was so intricately decorated. As the two of you entered the Manor, you saw Narcissa turn and smile at the two of you.
âDraco, Y/N! Welcome.â Narcissa greeted, wrapping you in a hug as you exited Dracoâs car.
âMrs.Malfoy, hi! How have you been?â You asked as you pulled away, but she only waved you off.
âDear, please call me Narcissa. But I have been great, thank you. Everyone is out in the garden, but feel free to help yourselves to any refreshments inside.â She said, as Draco nodded and began to pull you away, and Narcissa headed back outside.
âCome on, once she is started it is hard to get her to quit talking. She means well though, at least.â Draco said with a grin. âLet me get you a drink.â He told you, as the two of you walked into the kitchens.
It had some small parties, but nothing too serious. You waited by the entryway as Draco headed to the fridge. You were quick to spot Blaise, a friend of Dracoâs, and the two of you exchanged waves. He was with a girl, Pansy, who had been all over Draco in school. Draco said that he had known her since he was a kid, and she had always had a crush on him. He said it had never been returned, but you still couldnât help but truly wonder.
Just as Draco returned, Pansy spotted the two of you and approached.
âDraco, this must be your girlfriend. She sure is something else.â Pansy said with a sneer, looking you up and down slowly, making you feel uncomfortable.
âYes, Pansy. This is Y/N.â Draco replied, rolling his eyes as he handed you a drink.
âWell, if you ever need me, call me.â She said, walking away.
âSorry you had to meet her, she is a handful. But the good news is, itâll probably be easier to talk to my father.â He said, wrapping an arm around you, causing you to laugh.
âI would have never expected you to be such a ladies magnet.â You teased, kissing his cheek.
âHey, whatâs that supposed to mean?â He asked, laughing. Before you could answer, Narcissa came back inside.
âDraco, your father is outside. He was looking for you and Y/N. He is very eager to meet her!â She said, before grabbing a lemonade.
âCome on, I promise this wonât be so bad,â Draco said, leading you outside.
It didnât take too long to find Lucius, he wasnât hard to miss. He looked like an older Draco, just with longer hair. As the two of you approached, you felt yourself get more nervous. When you two got closer, Lucius turned to greet you.
âDraco, good of you to come out and join us. Ah, you must be Y/N? Draco talks about you a lot. Youâre more beautiful than he let on.â Lucius said with a grin, as he gave you his hand to shake.
âThank you, Mr.Malfoy. It is a pleasure to meet you. Your home is beautiful, and I am thankful for being invited over.â You said, returning his handshake.
âPlease, make yourself at home. If you need anything let me know.â Lucius said before a business associate came up. âI am sorry, business calls. But it was nice to meet you. You are welcome anytime you like.â Lucius said, turning to shake another manâs hand.
Draco walked with you around the garden, his hand in yours. âSee, that wasnât so bad,â Draco said, but also to calm himself down, he had actually been so nervous.
âIt wasnât! Iâm glad he didnât try and use his mob boss powers to take me out.â You teased, causing Draco to laugh.
âI am too because I kind of like you.â
âOh yeah, Malfoy? Well, I kind of love you.â You said, giving him a kiss.
âY/N, you are so beautiful. Please donât ever forget that.â Draco said, placing his lips on your forehead.
This is for @star-spangled-man-with-a-plan Full Figured Fantasy writing challenge. Hopefully I hit the mark for you. I realized as I was writing that maybe Tony is a bit of an awkward duck for me to write. I hope it comes off natural enough? Feedback really appreciated on this one.Â
Pairing: Tony Stark x PlusSized!Reader | Word Count: 1.4k | Warnings: none, just some insecurities | Fluff mostly | Prompt: I got 99 problems, but my curves ainât one
You hated these Stark Industries parties, they were full of pomp and circumstance and beautiful people putting on their best faces and you were justâŚyou. Plain and simple, average features with a little more to love around the edges and it always made you so insecure to stand next to these model thin women with their slim flutes of champagne. You sighed and brushed your hands down your front, trying to smooth away non-existent wrinkles in the fabric of your dress; it was a gold sequined number with a scoop neckline that accentuated your breasts in the best possible way, it hugged you perfectly to give you that classic hourglass figure that guys claimed to fall down over but you still found yourself as single. But no matter how much you hated the parties, being on the direct Stark payroll meant your mandatory attendance.
Your phone chirped on the desk and you hit the home button to bring up the text message. It was from your boss, Tony Stark, wondering where you were. You smiled softly and returned to your mirror where you replied a coat of your favorite shade of lipstick before throwing it in your little black clutch and headed up to the rooftop where this shindig was being thrown. You took a deep breath to steel your nerves and put your pleasant Stark assistant face on as the elevator opened up to the rooftop. You looked up from the entrance platform out on the sea of perfectly trimmed topiary and fairy lights. It had been a painstaking week of planning the soiree to every minute detail, Tony had given you free reign to take some of the burden off of Pepperâs busy schedule.
You made your way down the stairs and headed straight for the bar, giving a little wave to Steve and Sam as you passed and quickly ordered yourself a martini and a shot of Svedka. Shooting back the shot quickly you winced at the rubbing alcohol like burn before chasing it with a swallow of martini, the dry vermouth not doing much to take the sensation away.
âHey, sweet cheeks, getting good and party ready?â the familiar voice had you plastering on your best smile before turning and facing him. Tony Stark stood in front of you in a navy blue suit with a silvery silk shirt underneath. The top few buttons were open, flashing a bit of chest hair and the soft glow from his arc reactor. His brown hair was gelled to a perfectly tousled mess and his black rimmed glasses were void of the rosy hue the lenses normally had to hide the red of his eyes from lack of sleep.
âOf course, Mr. Stark,â you responded stiffly, raising your glass to your painted lips once more.
Tony frowned and fiddled with the cuff links on his jacket. âCome on, itâs been three months now and every day I tell you to call me Tony.â
Your smile falters for a moment before you nod in understanding. âSure thing, boss,â you tease, skirting around getting too informal with the man himself. He rolls his eyes, knowing what you were doing. âAre there any important people here that I should be taking note of?â You ask to distract him as you open your clutch to fish your phone out. No matter how tiny your purse was it never ceased to amaze you how your phone always got lost in them.
Tonyâs hand reached out and settled gently on yours. âYouâre off duty tonight, Y/N. Come dance with me.â You opened your mouth to protest but he held his hand out. âCome on, itâll show them I still have good taste.â
You snorted inelegantly, but placed your hand in his none the less. Tony pulled you out onto the dance floor and even with your hand folded in his and your other arm draped around his neck you couldnât help but anxiously cast your eyes around and focus in on the women who did double takes every time they noticed who Tony Stark was bothering to dance with. You flushed and dipped your head slightly, your hair falling to hide your face as Tony spun you both slowly around the floor.
Tony pulled away from you a little to look at you properly and brushed the hair out of your face to tuck it behind your ear. âI canât be that bad of a dancer,â Tony teased, trying to lighten whatever mood had you suddenly downtrodden.
âI just donât like everyone staring,â you murmured.
âOh, theyâre just trying to figure out where I hide the super suit,â Tony continued to joke.
âNo, theyâre trying to figure out if Iâm going to be the next woman to try and tame Tony Stark. Theyâre either feeling bad for me or brushing me off because Iâm very obviously not your type,â you answer with a little more venom then you meant, it shocked you a little the ferociousness of it but it didnât seem to faze Tony in the slightest.
One of Tonyâs eyebrows raised and the corner of his mouth quirked up in a boyish smirk. âI didnât know I had a type.â
The tempo of the band had picked up, but Tony continued to move around the dance floor at his own pace. It was a such a Tony Stark thing, it didnât matter what everyone else around him was doing he was always going to do what he thinks is best regardless.
You laughed at what you assumed was his feigned ignorance. âPlease, Tony. Look, I have 99 problems and my curves ainât one, but they obviously arenât your type. Thatâs okay, everyone has a type.â
Tonyâs brows furrowed in contemplation and he simply hummed in understanding, his lips pursed slightly. You were about to apologize, afraid to have offended the man, when the cloudy look disappeared from his face and he retrained his laser vision to you.
âWell, I can assume short aging men arenât your type. So maybe theyâre all pitying me,â Tony shot at you. You narrowed your eyes, his tone came off as him trying a little too hard to be flippant.
âShows what you know. Silver foxes are very much my thing.â You laugh at his attempt to hide his shock at your comment and he tries to hide it further by dipping you down suddenly and whisking you back up.
You laugh more and push him away slightly so you can get your hair unstuck from your lipstick and back in order. You thank Rihanna for the wonderful bra that kept the ladies snugly in place during that move of his. Tony chuckles at you and helps dislodge a lock of hair from your fake eyelashes without pulling them off. Without skipping a beat he has you back in place in his arms, but this time a little closer than before.
âSo if after three months I donât have you figured out, what has you so sure you have me figured out?â Tony asks suddenly.
You pause and run your tongue over your lips, missing how Tonyâs eyes followed the movement with rapt attention. âForgive me if this sounds too forward, Mr. Stark.â
âTony.â
âTonyâŚBut you have a bit of a paper trail. Youâve never been off the publicity radar and they donât really build super models and bottle girls and high class reporters like me. I mean, look at Ms. Potts, sheâs gorgeous. Itâs not exactly a secret that you hired me as her replacement because Iâm less distraction,â you admit freely, the vodka finally catching up to you and making you a little loose lipped.
Tony cocked his head to the side and sucked his lips against his teeth in thought. You quirked an eye at his intense gaze and stopped letting him lead you along the dance floor, he stopped easily as if you had been leading him the entire time which you very might have been now that you thought about it.
âI find you incredibly distracting,â Tony admitted blinking rapidly at you in confusion. âI find it distracting how you carry yourself with such a dominating confidence. I find it distracting that in three months of working with me you know my needs better than anyone ever has. I find it distracting that someone as stunning and bright as you lets herself get knocked down by snarky comments. I find it distracting that apparently you have 99 problems and havenât bothered to come to me with any of them.â
You were acutely aware that the two of you were stood still in the middle of dancing couples, some of them had even stopped to watch you while the others simply stared as they danced past. But you ignored them in favor of the man in front of you. You licked your lips nervously and ran your hands down his suit jacket lapels to smooth them. You were too aware of the weight and warmth of his hands on your hips, his fingers digging into your flesh softly to stop you from escaping.
âI donât come to people with problems that canât be fixed, Tony,â you chuckled darkly, trying to gloss over his admission.
Tony pursed his lips and nodded and with a smooth step you were both moving again, your arms wrapped around his neck as his hands hadnât left your sides.
âI think the world needs more women like you, Y/N. Youâre strong and youâre confident, even when youâre mentally beating yourself up. I wish youâd be a little more take charge, but I guess thatâs just going to have to come with a position of authority,â Tony said.
âAre you firing me, Tony?â you asked, stopping the dance once more.
âAs my assistant? Yes. But thatâs because youâll be too busy heading the public relations team,â Tony said simply, taking your hand and leading you off the dance floor and out of the way of the couples that had started subtly glaring at the two of you.
âExcuse me?â you gasped and took the flute of champagne he offered you.
âI filed the papers with Pep this morning. Youâll get dinner with me tomorrow to discuss the details?â
You took a shaky gulp and nodded. âY-yeah. Yeah, I can do tomorrow.â
Tony nodded and smiled brilliantly. âGreat. Maybe now that you arenât my assistant youâd like to accompany me to a gala I have to go to on Saturday as my plus one. Iâd hate for the rumor mill to start saying my type is my assistants.â
With a wink he was whisked away into another business conversation. You made your way back to the bar where you started and smiled as Natasha approached you from the shadows.
âYou seem to be having a good night,â she commented coyly.
âYeah. Yeah, this is a pretty good party,â you answer with a smile and watch Tony from across the rooftop, already planning what to wear on your upcoming date.
A/N: This gif is just too funny to me and gave me an idea of his being a personal trainer to a shy plus size reader. I hope you enjoy it. :)

âOne more, Y/N, come on, push past it and do this.â Â Sebastianâs voice met your ears and you looked up for a moment before tucking your head again to concentrate.
You held yourself in a plank position, a bead of sweat sliding down your forehead tickling your flushed skin. Â The burn of your overworked muscles was taking its toll and you thought for sure you were going to either cry or throw up.
âOh my God it hurts!â You grunted hoarsely, fingers gripping onto the mat, your hair slowly falling out of your ponytail.
âJust hold it out, you can do it!â Â Sebâs cheerful determined voice was irritating and you wanted to punch him hard in his six pack, rock hard abs. Â You felt your sports bra shifting and your t shirt beginning to slide up your lower back a bit and you cringed with embarrassment. Â The last thing you needed was for the most attractive personal trainer in your gym to see your stretch marks and muffin top along with one side of your underpants sliding up one butt cheek under your leggings uncomfortably.
âI caaaaanât.â Â You groaned, letting out an immature whine. You winced at pressure in your lower gut. Â Was that a fart coming? Â If I fart in front of him, Iâll kill myself. Â You threatened inwardly as you clenched your rear tight.
âFew more seconds, youâre doing it!â Â He clapped and leaned over, his hands on his thighs.
âI hate this.â Â You panted, your arms shaking from the burn.
âI know and itâs almost over for the day.â Â Seb got down into a plank position in front of you. Â âLook at me, y/n.â Â You sensed his grin and you rolled your eyes.
âWould you just do the countdown already!â Â You snapped, not wanting to look at him. Â The man was too attractive for his own good and the crazy part to you was that he didnât seem to know how gorgeous he was. Â He was friendly, silly, kind, and didnât seem to notice that you had way too much weight from stress eating for your liking. Â You both laughed together and he encouraged you to push harder. After a few sessions you had begun to ignore how fit he was and focused on yourself, the embarrassment of comparing your own heavy set frame to his disappearing. Â All you saw now was a good guy with a good heart. Â Ok maybe a little of the good looks were still noticeable to you.
He shook his head, âNope. Look at me. Â We wonât be done âtil you do.â Â The little chuckle as you sighed hard caused you to look up at him.
âWhat?â Â You snarled, your voice wavering from effort.
âYouâre doing it. This is the longest you ever held a plank. Â Remember when you first started and you could barely get into the position?â
You looked up at him and his perfect grin met you, the corners of his eyes crinkling as he smiled. You felt a twang of pride in your chest and you let out a groan, âSeriously?â
âHell yeah, youâre doing awesome! Â Few more seconds and three, two, one. Â Done!â He hopped and tucked his feet under him as he stood easily, waiting for you as you slowly tucked each leg under yourself and pushed up awkwardly. Â You know you always looked ridiculous trying to get out the plank and burpee positions but Seb told you that youâd get better at it and the awkwardness would pass.
âI always feel like a walrus getting out of these moves.â Â You complained, looking up to see Seb giving you a frown. Â âWhat?â Â You asked brushing the loose hair out of your face.
âDonât talk about yourself like that. Â You know how hard you worked to be able to hold that position right? Â Youâre getting stronger and your efforts are really showing.â
âI know, butââ
He walked over with his hands on his hips, âPart of these sessions are about getting in shape and the other part is thinking positive. Â I donât want to hear you put yourself down again, got it?â
You blushed at the scolding and reached down for your towel. Â âYes sir.â
His smile returned and he nodded. Â âGood. I think youâre done your torture for the day.â Â He laughed as you shook your head with an eyeroll.
âIt wasnât so bad.â You admitted. Â You rather enjoyed the stronger feeling in your stomach muscles after a good workout now and your clothes were actually starting to show the hard work you put in.
âWhat was that again? So you donât hate me anymore?â Seb let out a loud laugh as you stuck your tongue out at him.
Later as you were freshened up and leaving the gym, you saw him standing with a group of his friends around the front desk. Â He was laughing and in the middle of a joke when he saw you walking by. Â You gave a shy wave goodbye and he trotted over, removing his baseball cap, adjusting his thick brown hair.
âHey! Â See you on Thursday?â Â He asked, âYouâre really doing awesome.â
âYeah all of this fatâŚâ You stopped yourself as he raised an eyebrow of warning, âI mean, Iâm trying, itâs hard but I can see results now and I have some actual energy.â
âThere you go.â Â He patted your back. Â âBest client Iâve ever had, you never give up.â Â You heard one of his friends give a low catcall to you and Seb and you tucked a lock of hair around your ear nervously. Â âI gotta get going, but thank you. Â So much.â
âAnytime. Â And uh, yeah. Â See you in a few days.â Â Your eyes met and you swore he was a little red in the cheeks. Â As the glass doors closed behind you, you turned and looked back and saw Seb swatting at the catcaller as his friends looked up at you and back to him, giving him playful shoves. Â He smiled once more to you and gave a small wave goodbye.
âYeah, Iâll definitely be back.â Â You said to yourself as you trotted happily to your car.

A Bucky Barnes/Reader with Fluff: 7, 17 and Angst: 6,16
6.â(She/he/they/I) lost (her/his/their/my) soulmate.â
7."You'll find your way back to me, I know you will."
16.âYou lost the right when you walked out of my life.â
17."I'll take the couch."
"I'll take the couch.â You turn at the unfamiliar voice, watching as Sharon seems unconcerned.
âYou are?â You tilt your head frowning a little when the man in the doorway freezes and looks to Sharon as if sheâll explain, she just laughs.
âOkay Sharon listen I can only keep up with all your agent friends so many times before they blur together, and the chance is heâs not even one of those since you like to pick up stray people like Rogers picks up boy scout awards for doing dumbass shit.â
âJames, Barnes.â He hasnât stopped grinning and you wonder if insulting Captain America really made him that happy.
âYouâll find your way back to me, I know you will.â You offer the words to Bucky as he leaves for his first mission since the two of you started dating. You knew heâd be coming back, but you knew from your time in the field that it would chip at him each time. You still hadnât told him of your powers and you figured it best he didnât know.
âBarnes?â Sharonâs voice crackles through the comm unit and Bucky doesnât pay it any mind walking up through the destruction youâve left in your wake.
âYou lost the right when you walked out of my life, why does it hurt? Why does it still hurt!â You scream fingers digging into the ground as you cry.
âI lost my soulmate.â He mumbles into the comm and you swivel, turning your head when you recognise his voice, you know he doesnât recognise you, he thinks youâre a villain thatâs killed yourself and you wonder how desperate that will make him. You grin, leaning forward a little.
âYouâll find your way back to me, I know you will.â You expect him to snap, to think youâre mimicking his belovedâs voice instead he just laughs a little and holds his arms out towards you.

Summary:Reggie/Plus Sized!Reader Request: theyâre always together, PDA is not an issue for them except it is for everyone else lol to the point where they get things taken away like football/basketball and for y/n time away from art and it makes them super on edge until Reggie sees y/n looking drained because she has so much time away from art/him that she starts crying and heâs like âaw baby, câmere!â
Youâd been dating Reggie Mantle for months, as the months had progressed youâd become more and more comfortable showing affection with him. Of course everyone else would scoff and grumble how it was too much, to on display; youâd usually just roll your eyes and pull him back in for another kiss to annoy them. That was before the teachers were bothered by it. Youâd managed to divide the teachers into two groups, the ones that were annoyed by Reggie as in their eyes time spent making out with you during school was time he wasnât studying; coach Clayton was the one who actually did something about it; threatening to bench him and take him off of the team if his grades drop from a result of spending too much time with you. The other group are the students that make snide comments and complain to any of the teachers that listen that its distracting and problematic; youâre ninety percent sure itâs because youâe bigger, but of course youâre not able to prove it and the teachers tend to agree with them.
Itâs manageable, easy to ignore the warnings and even Reggie assures you that the coach wonât actually take him off the team. Itâs manageable until your art teacher calls you back after the bell rings.
âListen Y/N; itâs not something I want to do, but the other teachers and students complaints are annoying me.â
âComplaints?â You cringe slightly.
âI know you and Reggie Mantle are together, and youâre both perfectly respectable and calm in my class, Iâm not sure how you two are outside of my class, nor do I care. Some of the other students are complaining that your, affection; to be polite is distracting them.â You sigh nodding.
âI know, theyâve been saying it since we got together.â
âDo you think theyâre bothered by you, not necessarily your affections for Reggie?â You nod trying your best not to look too upset.
âTheyâre bothered because they donât think that I; looking the way I do, shouldnât be with him.â You teacher sighs nodding.
âWell instead of cutting back on the affection; might I suggest not spending so much time together constantly?â
âIâll think about it.â
âIâm really sorry about this Y/N but I think it would be best for you to focus on your academic classes, seeing as theyâre suffering based on this; issue the other teachers have brought to my attention.â
âSo I canât come to art class anymore?â You swallow nervously.
âNo, no you can still come of course, I mean you have to go to class, but maybe not in the mornings and afternoons when I offer tutorials; maybe go to science tutoring instead. Your chemistry teacher said youâre really-â
âThank you. I appreciate the advice.â You cut her off smiling and nodding before you walk out of her class towards your car.
ââââââââââââââââââââââââââââ
Itâs only been a week without the extra art class time; Reggie had been doubling down on practice and spending his mornings running extra drills; his afternoons spend in the library trying not to scream at his math textbook or the senior who offered to help him.
He assures you that heâs not missing he date night youâve set up and when he shows up an hour early you laugh shaking your head.
âYouâre early babe.â He steps into your house kissing you.
âI didnât know your couch took reservations.â
âBed actually, my parents decided to stay in and watch the marathon of Hollywood glamor.â
âIâve heard that itâs a good line up.â Reggie shouts into the living room as he follows you up to your room.
âWhoa I donât think Iâve ever seen your room this clean.â You nod dragging your hands through your hair.
âItâs been driving me crazy I feel like I canât even go into the art class without someone looking at me or waiting for you to show up and its murder!â You snarl pacing back and forth shaking your head.
âBabe at least we get to spend time together.â Reggie offers to appease you.
âNo I get that, itâs just;â You huff and sit on your bed before flopping. âI havenât been able to properly paint in like a week and I want to scream.â
âPaint me.â
âNo, itâs not that I donât know what to paint I just canât I donât have the time to set everything up and-â
âI know. Paint me, like on me. The acrylic paints you have are skin safe right?â Reggie smirks pulling his shirt off.
âIs my back an acceptable canvas?â He laughs when you run your hands against his skin, nails lightly running down his spine.
âItâll do for now.â You smile pulling the acrylics over as he lays on the bed.
âMake it a pretty sunset.â He laughs.
âA sunset really?â
âWell it was our first date. Thought itâd be cute.â
âYouâre cute enough all on your own. Donât go building yourself up as this amazing romantic so far from our anniversary, youâll have to outdo yourself and you might not be able to top this.â
âWell Iâd much rather you top me for our anniversary; so, problem solved already.â He winks craning his head to watch you dip a brush into the red.
âHush babe.â You mumble fingers tracing the freckles on his back before you run your brush against them.
âHold still.â You mumble after almost an hour of painting. You wonât admit it but youâre incredibly relaxed, as you continue to work you can feel every muscle thatâs been tense and twisted slowly coming undone.
âThat was the first time I moved since- Are you crying?â Reggie jerks turning fully around to pull you into a hug faster than you realize yes you are indeed crying.
âBaby whatâs wrong?â
âNothing? I guess, I mean Iâm probably a lot more stressed than I thought.â
âWhy, did someone say something again Iâll-â
âNo I was, I was just scared; that since we werenât spending time together you wouldnât want me anymore.â
âof course I want you, not being able to see you as much, to kiss and hold you sucks; Iâm not going to lie I hate it. But being able to spend this time with you and have it means so much more, is at least one bright spot besides its- oh sorry.â He twists looking at his back in the mirror, you scowl.
âIt was supposed to be a palm tree.â You narrow your eyes at the green streak cutting through the sunset youâd painted.
âIt still is? Just with a really long leaf?âHe shrugs and lays back down.
âsee what else you can turn it into, maybe next week you can redo the sunset.â
âNext week?â
âThis is the most rest Iâve gotten in the last month between practice and studying this is the best hour of my life.â
âBecause you can sleep?â
âBecause I get to spend it with you, but the sleeping is also a plus.â
Summary: Reggie/Plus Sized! Reader Request: Using the song âFreaking me outâ by Ava Max; they meet & fall for each other and the reader freaks out because all the guys sheâs ever liked were like Reggie in some way and maybe he tells her he loves her
You hadnât been paying attention the first three times you met Reggie Mantle; to be fair the first time wasnât really meeting him.
It was more crashing into him after practice when Ginger had shoved you into the guys locker room on a dare. Reggie had caught you and offered to buy you Popâs for the âtraumaâ youâd suffered.
âHow is the guys locker room trauma?â You look up from the burger youâd ordered.
âHave you seen Andrews?
âNo I wasnât looking at anyone besides you.â You try to laugh it off but he just smirks at you.
âIt was a joke!â
âNot a funny one though.â He laughs as you flush.
âIf it helps I wasnât looking at anyone else besides you either.â He offers.
âThat doesnât help at all. But what about Archie then? You like him?â You laugh when he glares.
âNo I meant seeing him shirtless is trauma, heâs anyways, enough about him, what about you.â
âWhat about me? Was that your attempt to see me shirtless?â
âIf it works then yes it was.â He grins and you laugh once more shaking your head.
You can already hear the laughs from the football team; you know having just joined the River Vixenâs; being the only plus sized girl on the team meant you were usually a support at the base of any of the stunts, despite this Cheryl would often feature you in the front; at first you thought it was because she viewed you as someone to make look better, but you learned from Toni that Cheryl actually preferred you to be in front because you could actually keep up with her dance and movements without looking as she put it âa sweaty pile of stretch lycraâ You couldnât help laugh at that. Of course for the moment it seems the football team is laughing but not for that reason youâre about to scold them, assuming theyâre mocking Lia for falling again when you catch the tail end of what was obviously a hilarious joke judging by how Chuck doubles over laughing.
âNo youâre right, we should let the other teamâs know we have a hippo on the river Vixenâs bet itâll scare âem off.â You roll your eyes almost disappointed they werenât being more creative in insulting you. You shuffle forward confused when Cherylâs hand tugs you back.
âThis is gong to be great.â She laughs and you turn to where she grins at, watching Reggie stalking towards Chuck. As warm as you are at the thought of him defending you; you canât help your thoughts drift back to the last boyfriend you dated, how when heâd defended you it either ended with him in a fight or his insitence you owed him for it. When no shouting or hitting is heard, and Reggie walks over you tense slightly.
âYou okay Y/N? I told Chuck off, as long as Iâm captian Iâm not going to have any of my team memberâs being needlessly rude like that. Do you want me to walk you to your car?â He runs his hand on the back of his neck, like Mark used to you chuckle. â I know it was just a joke but if it helps you feel better.â
âPersonally Iâd feel much better if you took her to Popâs she hasnât eaten since lunch!â Cheryl scolds and you glare at her, she leans over whispering into your ear.
âYouâre welcome for wingwomaning you, I see that look in your eye, youâre thinking of Mark, Reggieâs nothing like him; or any of the others, before you start trying to pick them apart; for that matter.â She beams nudging you into Reggie and waving you both off.
âDid Cheryl just pick you up, for me?â Reggie questions laughing a little when you nod.
âGod I have to remember to thank her when I get over how weird that is.â You laugh nodding.
âIâm sure sheâll think of some tribute fitting for her.â
âIâm assuming itâll be just as over the top as her obviously.â
You havenât officially told everyone youâre dating, as far as even Cheryl knows youâve gotten closer with Reggie but nothing yet had come of it. Reggie decides and you agree to tell everyone at the halloween party that Cherylâs hosting. She refuses to allow any of the couples in unless theyâre in coupleâs costumes and you almost manage to convince Reggie to dress as her and youâd go as Toni, but he refuses and you end up confused as he shows up in a tux; youâd agreed to dress as Catwoman and batman and you narrow your eyes at him.
âWhat are you playing at, youâre supposed to be Batman!â He smirks nodding.
âIâm billionaire Bruce Wayne, who has nothing to do with Batman.â
âIâm going to murder you.â
âWow what a shock Catwoman threatening a civilian.â He laughs when Cheryl opens the door.
âY/N! you look great, come in; Reggie you can come in when you have a costume on.â
âWhat Iâm-â
âIn a tux.â
âOh for the love of-â He glares pulling a Batman mask from the inside of his jacket.
âAww you two are Batman and Catwoman!! So cute!!!â Cheryl beams pulling you both in.
âIm glad you two saw sense and decided to actually date and show up as a couple; if either of you try to deny it Iâll just have Toni show you all the photos she managed to catch of you two looking sickeningly in love with each other when you thought no one was listening. Now;â Cheryl spins smiling back you and then to everyone else.
âWho wantâs to play spin the bottle?â
