Just a little note to say I have been updating the site, slowly but surely.

I have updated the bio section, and have started adding photos to the gallery.

Hello everyone!

I thought it would be best for a little overview of what I'm doing; both with this account and personally.

Firstly, I'll fill you in on the blog position. I have decided to actually turn this random blog (which I currently use for my obsession of looking at photographs of Kim Jong Il looking at things) in to my diary/website. Ignore some of the lame little things at the moment, this is just a temporary template. I will be changing the layout etc as I am able to in my spare time. 

I am aiming to use this blog to document the new section of my life: my second and hopefully successful venture in to University life and my overdue return to performing live. I am also planning on throwing in a few other ramblings. We will just have to see where the mood takes me.

Now for my personal update.

After a quirky, misconstrued attempt at becoming a nurse (which I must add, I thoroughly enjoyed whilst it lasted) I am returning to my routes. When I explained my new life goal to friends and family a few months back the reaction was unanimous: "Wow, that is definitely what you should be doing" and "That is such a you thing to do." I think after testing out the practical option and failing, I believe now is the time to do what I love the most: sing, act and dance around like a prat for other people's amusement.

Come September I am enrolling to study Peforming Arts: Theatre and I could not be more excited! September also marks the beginning of rehearsals for 'Chess: The Musical' which I shall be taking part in as a member of the Amateur Shrewsbury Operatic Society. The past month I have also been working on new solo material and hope to be recording new demo tracks in the coming few months.

As you see, I am up to a lot and felt I needed a place to record all that I get up to and to share it with those who may happen to be interested!

To kick-start this new chapter of my life I will be shooting some new photographs with the amazing Kirsty Bennett next week (please check out her photography page here!)
