If ya have PlayStation Plus ya can get Elder Scrolls Online - Gold Road Collection on PlayStation (you can install for both PS4 and PS5 I think too so)!! You have the entire month of March to claim it, if you so choose to.
favorite game?
And so they should. Skewing the data is just another way for them to control the narrative. So we need to respect ourselves and show them that they’re going in the wrong direction on this and as long as they’re not listening to their consumers, they will hurt for it by us.
You lost our trust. You lost our respect.
You lose our money. That’s how it is.
I have also cancelled my PlayStation Plus subscription because the only reason I joined it was for that free month of GTA+ when pre-ordering GTA 6 just to check GTA 5 Online out because I never have before. I don’t want to have to keep using that subscription service nor the PlayStation Plus one. There is no reason for me to. I buy my games outright. All of them. And I buy them physically because I like to go to my local GAME or CEX retail store and communicate with the people who love to buy and sell and play video games. It is a culture. And a beloved one that we are not ready to lose yet. Now I usually keep the physical games I buy just for the sake of collection and if I want to revisit them at some point. But the rare occasion, I will sell a game to that retailer and allow somebody else to have the chance to buy it.
This is our culture as gamers. It always has been. And they’re not taking it away from us by going only-digital.
Keep walking away. Show them you’re serious. Show them that they’re doing the entirely wrong thing as a video game provider and they can’t get away with it.

Life in 2025
I'm cramping hard and want to play Fallout 4, on a disc, on my playstation 4.
Playstation logged me out of its online network so the mods i "downloaded" in FO4 won't work if I am not signed in. All my saves rely on mods and will likely break if played without them. I hunt down my password and sign in to PSN.
PSN gives me a never-before-seen prompt "enter the code we sent to your email." That email hasn't been opened in years because it's a gmail account and they are notoriously gatekeepy about letting me access my email. I try to access that email anyway. It won't let me unless i give it the phone number assigned to that account. That account was made before I had a smart phone, so it has no phone number. I cannot access my email.
I contact playstation support staff via chat. I say "i don't have access that email" they say "give us a different email" so i do. Then they say "now give us your phone number" i say absolutely not my personal number has nothing to do with playing FO4. They say "okay! we need your full name" i say my account was made with a nickname because what moron uses a full name? I say "use my debit card instead" they say "okay! And give us the serial number on the backside of your console!" I wrestle my toasty PS4 onto its back and send them the serial number. They say "okay! Give us the transaction numbers of your last purchases! they will be in your emails."
I say "that's the problem. I cannot access my email."
They say "unfortunately, due to our security protocols................"
I go back to my gmail, via my laptop this time. It asks for a phone number so it can "send me a verification code" even though NO NUMBER is associated with this email address. A complete stranger could have my email and password and it will happily let them in as long as they can receive a text message.
i cave. Google already has my phone number because my phone is a samsung. I get into my ancient email account, get my sony verification code, and get out.
The Sony Speakeasy lets me in now that I have the magic passcode.
I finally boot up FO4.
Bethesda has updated the mod shop to being a Creation Club and are charging $19.99 for the newest update to their 11yo game. Don't need it, just need my mods, which are still there but once again have all been disabled. I click on the first one to enable it.
"Bethesda Network cannot connect."
I am kicked from the mod shop back to the main menu.
