Hey cutie pies. I met up with @clannad2 at the park so our twins can play with each other. Nyomi and I were talking about our kids while the kids play on the playground.

The boys were pretty much running after each other (very happy that Jahi was playing with Adam. Usually Jahi would like to play by himself but it’s great to see him interact with Adam.) Aria and Jamila what pretty much singing and dancing all around the playground. Toward the end of their play date, they started to play in the sand together to make a sandcastle.

Thranduil: You have a play date.

Legolas: Dad, I’m 2900 years old. I don’t do play dates anymore.

Thranduil: Yes you do. I said so.

Legolas: Why don’t you just come out and just tell me what you did this time?

Thranduil: I didn’t do anything but I want you to do something.

Legolas: What?

Thranduil: I just told you. You have a play date.

[LATER...]

Bard: This is a play date?

Legolas: Yep.

Bard: Oh, I can see how the complete and total annihilation of a lakeside shantytown in Middle Earth due to a very large and chatty fire-breathing dragon can be interpreted by some to be considered a play date. Me and the few hundred villagers left homeless, wet and covered in soot are having the time of our lives.
