Some photos of modernized PKM, this is the PKZ modernization Kit.
There seems to be a couple of versions of this kit, they use the standard receiver of the PKM although the barrel is replaced with a shorter one, the stock is much shorter than the original, and what I find the most interesting about this kit is the trigger group.
The trigger group is a separated unit attached to the receiver that moves the trigger forward, similar to a bullpup kit, I bet this trigger is awful in true Russian fashion.
This kit is supposedly already in service in Ukraine, but I've not been able to source any evidence in that regard, although that may be because it's only in use with more specialized units.
