I know I’ve been really quiet lately- it was something I wanted to be better about this year but...oh boy, February kept bouncing me about literally and metaphorically and I just didn’t have the mental space to think about/remember to post.
So, status update:
one-shot sequel to Quintwizard- probably done/just needs a final pass before posting. Probably going to happen sometime in the next two weeks. Very dependent on how long it takes me to choose a title.
beyond a thin veil part 5- finished, but not edited. I’m going to try and drag that through editing in March, so hopefully by early April it’ll go live. Also very dependent on title choice.
Aragorn/Arwen/fem!Harry (Bronach) sequel to Steady is the Hand- 18 chapters/95k words and counting, we’re probably...75% of the way through, but the last 25% is the big stuff. After that, it’s going to need a LOT of edits because the plot was developing as I was writing so there’s continuity stuff I need to check. But I might be able to get the first chapter up sometime in June (like I’d set the goal for myself to do- we’re on track!). That is dependent on title choice as well (are you noticing a trend??)
Pivot Point (working title for Glorfindel/fem!Harry (Bronach) sequel to Steady is the Hand)- 101k/235 pages and maybe 50% of the way through if I’m looking at the calendar time this is supposed to take in-universe. But that’s not necessarily a reflection of how much is left until the end. It’s in rougher shape than the OT3, especially since I gave up on chapters early on, so that’s going to need more time just on the organization side before it’s ready to post.
Other than that, I can’t stop myself and started a one-shot set between Steady is the Hand and the sequels that’s probably going to fit Glorfindel/fem!Harry (Bronach) best. There might be a few other scraps in the WIP folder that I’ll dabble in when I’m frustrated with everything else.
Thanks for sticking around, and hopefully March will be less...well, less, and I’ll be a bit more active.
