Concepts of Captain Finley!
She's my Octonauts OC and is Kwazii's previous captain.
Kwazii came to be under her care when he was stil fairly young so he has high regard for her. She is known to be a bit of jester and participates in small pranks every once in a while.
Some lore for Kwazii's old crew: treasure is not something they are very interested in. Kwazii's old crew are often hired in rescue or retrieval missions in sea or as a travelling crew by clients.
They often run into animal poachers during their missions so they have a reputation for dealing with those kinds of situations.
Finley implies to have worked with Captain Barnacles before, so Kwazii often wonders if Finley pulled a few strings to get him his position as an Octonaut.

I've only ever had the rough design of these two in my head, so it's nice to see them in front of me for the first time. Really helps me envision the rest of the story if I know where it's come from, y'know? XD
today I learned that pirates wore eyepatches not because they had injured their eye, but because the harsh light from the sun on the water would damage the uncovered eye
and then when they went below deck they would switch the eyepatch over to the other side so they could use their already dark-adjusted eye to see in the dim light
