#pinterest idea

I came across one of these similar works in Pinterest because it was beautiful. Yesterday, I discovered that it had been deleted by it's author for unknown reasons. Was I upset about that? Very, and I couldn't find a similar pin, which also upset me. However, I tried to create a similar cover, inspired by what I had back then. Then I found pictures in the same style and with the same idea, even if they were completely different from the deleted pin, so yes: the tandem of The Beatles and The Smiths is stylish and photogenic.

The cover refers to the album «Louder Than Bombs» by The Smiths, 1987

In the photo, George Harrison is smoking, 'cause he fits the original aesthetic eerily.

The title refers to a quote from Shakespeare's play «King Lear», which is spoken by Edmund, who is the illegitimate son of Gloucester: «Now, gods, stand up for bastards!»

P.s I know this is unlikely, but it would be nice to know the author of the deleted pin. If by any chance this person reads this post, then I'll say something: your work was amazing, it's so sad that it's not available now, 'cause it's very very inspiring.

So i turned to Pinterest for an idea cause I didn’t know what to do so I found this idea and it took forever to do the hands BUT I did it. The lineart is bad but the final product will be better ^^
