Had a couple of requests to show off my pillboxes, so here they are. (Quarter for scale.)
The top box is the same model as the lower-left box, just open to show the compartments; “Folca” pillboxes used to be hard to find, but I’m told they’re sold on Amazon and Aliexpress now. You can see the blue compartment is where the bandaids go, which one reader was asking about. This the “work bag” box -- “ADHD” and “Allergy” are self-evident, “Day pain” is naproxen sodium (which doesn’t do much for pain but reduces inflammation) and “night pain” is a PM medicine with a sedative. The red things are 5mg THC edibles and the maroon things are 2mg THC/20mg CBD “sleep aid” edibles.
The lower left pillbox is for daily use; normally each pocket has my vitamins and morning Adderall dose, but I didn’t refill it this week since I’m traveling starting tomorrow. The ghost and the recycling sticker are aftermarket, I put those on :D
The lower right pillbox is a smaller one that I use for travel, so it doesn’t have the pills divided by day. It has segments on top (allergy, adderall, and naproxen, plus the aforementioned edibles) and the bottom is split between a large compartment and a narrow small one on one side; the large one holds the vitamins and the small one holds a few q-tips. I got that one at The Container Store.
I like them both; the Container Store box isn’t ideal because it doesn’t have the larger compartments for daily dosages, but it’s nice for a long weekend trip, or longer travel if I don’t bring vitamins. I’d probably have a second one of those for my work bag, but I happened to have two Folca containers because they’re not super durable. They last about two years before something breaks or the hinges fail, so I tend to buy multiples when I find them for sale.
