Posted @withrepost • @karphotography Some of the scenes we were able to witness and photograph on our brown bear trip earlier this year were hard to believe. As we were walking the beach shortly before sunrise we saw this large boar combing the beach looking for ladies. As the sun began to rise over the distant mountains it all lined up perfectly as he walked right through the reflection of the sun on the shallow water. Huge brown bear boar walking on the beach? Check. Amazing sunrise reflecting across the tidal flats? Check. Within a few hours you can be exploring mountains filled with wildflowers and moose and then travel down South to what seems like a barren wasteland of rock, dirt and nothingness...almost like looking out over the surface of Mars.
