Spent the day in the studio experimenting in preparation for a round of portrait shoots I've planned where I'll be creating just for the sake of creating.

From a story I shot for @good.mag about the small group of young entrepreneurs who bought @powdermountain for $40 million and are building a town on top of the mountain as a home base for their event series, @summit.

Here's one of my favorites from a shoot for @uptowncheapskate a couple years ago. Can't wait for spring in the mountains! Who's with me?! 🏔

From that crazy day running around with @evan.mcmullin, shooting his official campaign photos. What a day that was! I followed him around, grabbing photos any chance I could get, in between interview after meeting after news conference. Near the end of the day, I created 3 setups to do some lit portraits and waited for a couple hours for his fundraising event to finish and wind down (i.e. shaking hands, kissing babies). When he was finally free to sit for some portraits, I got about 10 minutes to run through the 3 setups. After which, he was whisked away for more video interviews. I gained a new respect that day for presidential candidates and their campaign teams! I can't imagine how crazy it must be to keep that up for months on end! 🇺🇸

Uno mas from my recent shoot for PURITII! This scene was shot in a friend of a friend's rad modern home with ample amounts of that au naturale light. ☀️

Namaste! Here's another photo from my recent shoot for PURITII. @misshilly staged this "yoga studio" in our photo studio and we cast @missammyjean who was able to find her center, in front of the camera, right after getting in a serious car accident (everyone is ok)! Hair/makeup by the amazing @hairbya_pear.

New work for PURITII (water bottles with a filter built in), shot a couple weeks back. In a matter of days, @misshilly and I produced this one-day shoot where we shot in three locations with 7 unique setups. @misshilly took on wardrobe and prop styling AND helped me cast and secure locations. Production assisting by my baby sis @jamieee_nicole, and photo assisting by @nathanbiddlephoto and @zachfrenchphotography made my job lots easier. Hair/makeup was handled by the talented @hairbya_pear. The chemistry between this cute "daddy/daughter" pair was really unbelievable (they were complete strangers prior) it made this shot my favorite of the series!

Just put the finishing touches on the @commonwealth_studios website tonight! Been inhabiting this space with a couple photo friends for the last year or so. We've been progressively shaping the space to fit all our needs and we're pretty proud of how it turned out! Now that it's all spruced up and super functional we'd like to extend an invite to others in the industry to come and share the space! We have 4,000 sq ft of studio space available for daily rental for photo shoots, film projects, castings, production prep, what have you.
