I got called "she" at work a few times today behind my back. I'm starting to question if my transition has all been for nothing because even with a bit of facial hair, a deep voice, a more masculine body shape, and more body hair I still get called she.
It's been 2.5 years since I started medically transitioning and I couldn't be happier with my results from testosterone. The only things I can think of to make them call me she is my punch card to clock in and my chest.
I can't always bind at work for physical health reasons and today I've been in pain just from a sports bra. My punch card has to be my legal name so there's nothing I can do about that right now. My bosses and coworkers call me Jack and he when I'm in earshot. Everyone is alright to me except when they think I can't hear them. Granted, I usually can't over all the machines running but they were all turned off.
