Phillip would have locked himself away in his greenhouse just to escape his wife's horny whining, determined not to break the no snu snu pact among the rest of the spouses and hoping for some much needed respite from her desire-fuelled persistence, only for Eloise to blow his phone up with desperate horny meme pleading for sex after desperate horny meme pleading for sex.

The thing is, from a show perspective, it simply doesn’t make sense to have any sibling other than Eloise follow season 3. One of the central emotional conflicts of this upcoming season is the falling out between El and Pen, which means Eloise will in all likelihood be taking on a larger role in the plot. To do that and then back off from her for the next season just completely slams her character momentum into a brick wall.

Another logistical aspect that I don’t think fans have considered that likely has played a role in moving up Penelope’s and (probably) Eloise’s seasons are the ages of the actresses. Both look unbelievably phenomenal, but they’re also in their 30s and the longer they delay those stories the more likely it is that their characters might start showing that age, which, when they’re supposed to be among the younger/est of their families can cause some visual discrepancies.

For fans of the novels who say “well, what about the book order?” What I say back is, yeah? And? The order of the books is largely complete happenstance, and the story of each sibling has very little to do with the other with one very specific exception. Romancing Mr Brigderton is the only book in the series that not only directly leads up to it’s sequel, but also is the cause of the events leading up to it. Eloise and Colin’s stories overlap and feed into one another. Sure, Francesca’s also happens around the same time but it does not have the same cause and effect on the surrounding stories.

Since inheriting the family home, Anthony (mostly Kate) has kept the integrity of the house while also adding modern and chic accents

Kate didn’t want the home to be seen as gaudy so she decorated with furnishings that were clean and timeless

The home is grand and has lots of seating areas for when the whole family visits

Dashes of the Bridgerton family colors can be seen throughout the home

Kate enjoys the gardens the most and Anthony always makes sure her favorite flowers are in pristine shape

Benophie

When renovating My Cottage Benedict’s biggest project was painting a mural that features him and Sophie’s favorite places in the country

The home is cozy and has lots of sunlight so Sophie can lounge anywhere and read her favorite books

It’s the perfect country escape from the busy speed of the city and always filled with the smell Sophie’s fresh baked goods from her beloved kitchen

The newest addition to the house is Benedict’s home art studio where he can usually be found hyper focused all day

Polin

Colin and Penelope’s home is filled with objects they’ve collected while traveling

Their home is very eclectic and colorful

It was very much a bachelors lodgings before Penelope came along; Colin just used his home as a place to sleep between his trips but Penelope insisted that their home should reflect the exciting adventures they go on together

With so much in their home it can look a little clutter filled so Penelope tries to manage Collin’s purchases on their next trip she fails to do so

Saphne

Simon doesn’t really have a care what his home looks like so he gave Daphne full control on decorating

With the oldest, fanciest and biggest home daphne gave the old home a refreshing facelift

She made the home light and delicate while highlighting the ornate features

Philloise

Romney Hall was kind of a mess and in dear need of a renovation. Phillip never redid the home after he inherited it from his father so it was very outdated and drafty

Eloise thought it was the perfect opportunity to showcase Phillips favorite plants and flowers all over the house

Lots of plants and floral patterns can be seen in the home; Amanda and Oliver were a big help in the clashing patterns of the curtains and furniture

Eloise is the perfect Amanda (Cameron Diaz): neurotic & workaholic self-made woman.

(Maybe instead of being stressed by an unfaithful boyfriend she’s stressed by Violet wanting her to marry.)

Penelope is shy and a brilliant writer just like Kate Winslet’s Iris, and she actually has an unrequited love for a guy that just broke her heart getting engaged (more on this later).

They switch houses for the holiday, Eloise meets Penelope’s cousin, Phillip - a charming widower with two children, just like Jude Law in the movie. While Pen encounters Eloise’s funny and sweet brother, Colin. And a grumpy old hollywood glory, Agatha Danbury 😃

The only problem is: Colin in a way is both Jasper (Rufus Sewell), counting on his long time friend for writing his book and at the same time getting engaged and breaking Iris/Penelope’s heart, and Jack Black’s Miles, sweet and funny, able to make Iris/Penelope feel better about herself and more confident.
