I’m so #oceanblessed to live and work in one of the largest and most concentrated blue whale hotspots on the entire planet. An endangered species, blue whales face the threat of being struck by a 100,000 ton container ship, or having their entire tail fluke wrapped up in fishing filament. Both of which we have seen traces of this year — Today served as a friendly reminder that I am the luckiest guy in the world. Spending my days scanning the oceans surface for any trace of the worlds largest animal is a blessing I will never again take for granted.
