Seraiah

- Seraiah (pronounced seraya) is the seraphim of judgement. she has been around for a VERY long time, since before hell even existed. she is the current de facto ruler of heaven in god's absence (which we dont talk about. everything is FINE.) and presides over all judgement of souls.

- she also presides over the court case deciding whether charlie's hotel works. but that case was rigged against charlie from the start

- she's also, like, really tall. charlie size reference ⬇️

- shes cloaked entirely in her wings. this is what it looks like when shes not (aka her "true" form. well. not her TRUE form but as close as you can get without consequenchies)

- she is very much stuck in her ways, dismissing charlie's ideas out of hand and inevitably marking her as an enemy of heaven. whether or not her mind can be changed? remains to be seen

Esperance

- esperance, (esper for short) is the angel of hope. NOT ☝️ a seraphim you will notice. this is because she is not organic

- i've settled on the idea of heaven being staffed by these soulless (literally) clockwork automatons, the kind you would see in a museum of curios. esper is one of these, built as a familial companion for seraiah sometime in the late middle ages. her slightly antique programming simply tells her to Be Good, and charlie's hotel prospect and what it means leaves ger quite confused. heaven is good, of course, and the hotel plan is also good, but heaven does not like it? what is good and what is real???

- she's definitely meant to parallel charlie, having a similar sheltered upbringing and positive naïve outlook on life (also her torso shape is charlies upside down lol)

- also her design is wayyy complicated but i couldnt think of a simpler way to communicate the metal casing of her limbs so it is what it is
