Japanese Phantom II. The only F-4E series manufactured outside the United States. MITSUBISHI F-4EJ, F-4EJ -KAI. And the RF-4Ej KAI, which is F-4EJ equipped with reconnaissance pods and the RF-4E.
The ground attack and aerial refueling capabilities have been removed from the early F-4E model, and a hard wing with leading edge flaps has been adopted to emphasize acceleration during scramble takeoffs. There are no leading edge slats.
The KAI model has regained some of its bombing capability.
