I’ve been having trouble with #anxiety this week and just trying to focus on smaller things like taking care of my terrariums and getting completed orders sent out. Unfortunately now I have extra cause to worry excessively because my precious kitty, Lucky had an asthma attack and had to be rushed to the vet last night. I’m so glad to have @saintfrancisvets 24 hour emergency room right down the street because I was in full panic when my little chubby luv started wheezing, threw up and was refusing pets (she’s the biggest love bug ever). I’ve had her 18 years and she is practically my therapy animal- at her age any sign of something wrong with her health sends me into a fit of worry even tho the vets tell me she still looks and acts like a cat of 10yrs old. She spent the night in oxygen and is hopefully going to come home tonight. The vet says she is responding to treatments and doing much better today. I’m on a mission wracking my brain about what in my apartment could be causing her asthma and so it looks like I might be ditching my new sheep wool carpet/throw pillows and changing all the air filters in the a/c units. Off to a rough start this morning. Our youngest pup is still having joint issues and yesterday was her first day off pain meds to see if there was any improvement. She woke us up screaming in pain this morning. : ( Been at the vet the past two hours and had to leave her there so they could sedate her and do X-rays. Worried about my poor baby and hoping that its just some sort of soft tissue injury and not skeletal.
